I spent ages dialing in a different tone and was trying to make a video, but in the end this is the lead tone I almost always come back to.....
This preset is called "EricLeadEQ"

EDIT:
I wanted to add a chorus to the clean snapshot and couldn't figure out a way to do it so i kinda did that jailbreak thing to free up the volume block and now it's perfect lol. I can play all parts of EJ's Manhattan on a single preset which is awesome!

I frequently revisit my HX Stomp Presets to improve them as my understanding of where and how to make effective changes improves. Adjusting the Mids is a particularly powerful parameter to explore.

Hey @johnathancordy , what exactly is the “gumroad” folder? I bought the ”Helix and HX Stomp General Presets” but can’t seem to find a folder with that name.
Loving many of the oresets there. Worth the buy!!
For anyone using the Fender Tone cloud - ie, the cloud of free presets available for the Fender Mustang GT and GTX modeling amps - I created a preset “Cordy Eric Lead”, which is my poor man’s approximation to John’s Eric Lead. It’s not as refined, since among other things it’s limited by the Mustang’s less powerful DSP, but it’s my favorite lead tone on that amp. Anyone interested can look it up easily by searching its title in the downloads section of the Tone app.
That sounds good, it could even be used for a preset close to Nick Johnston's tones, do you have any presets in the pod go pack? Greetings.
Hi! @johnnathancordy i can not find the preset in the JC Lead patches for my hx stomp
dunno what it is about my setup but I find these tones unbearably buzzy/muffled on my Pod Go

Pretty damn good legato tone.... Now I wonder how you close you can get with the stomp to the late Holdsworth tone like on Countdown / None Too Soon... so frickin smooth and saxophone like.

It’s sped up. He recorded it, probably figured it was too long, then sped it up in his editor.
Is this the one called "ERIC LEAD 2023" in the Helix 3.6 Folder ?
