Divi 5 will be a huge game changer... 🚀I hope so!
no it wont its ages behin
No css grid no full blown Flex still no real support for dynamic content
Thanks for the review. Yes, the efficiency of the new Divi backend is fantastic. Let's hope that there's a similar improvement in front end speeds.
I would like - eventually - to see global settings available in the right and left columns, and perhaps the integration of the Header and Footer builder into the main interface.
On a separate note, I have to disagree with you about Gutenberg: in my opinion it's one of the weirdest and most unintuitive UIs ever designed. And it's a nightmare trying to explain it to clients. That's why the Classic Editor has more than 5m downloads, I guess.
Thanks for sharing your feedback Alex!
Hard to guess the date. I’m wondering how it will handle websites built in Divi 4. Will we lose some functionality? I also like the speed of 5 and the ability to switch faster between the responsive views.
It should update smoothly, the only thing to be carful of are third party plugins if you’re using them, you will need to check if their code has been updated to be compatible with Divi 5
Sir! Please make a video about how to create wordpress website using divi theme for beginners
Hi, will definitely consider this as soon as Divi 5 will be released 👍
I really wanted DIVI to be my builder, mainly because of the lifetime pricing. Living in a 3rd world country makes it harder to invest in WP products, but unfortunately, I found it too much trouble. You always end up adding CSS and doing all kinds of hacks and tricks to make things work properly. I hope DIVI has fixed a lot of its annoyances.
I agree with you 👍 I believe we’ll see great transformations in Divi as soon Divi 5 will be released, we’ll see!
Not just Diví. You always have to add CSS code to any theme to make it work properly. Ask anyone who has ever tried to use Squarespace - a much worse offender IMO
I'm the same. I just got it thinking it was pretty cool based on the demo, but after getting the Life Time I realized it doesn't have much options to do anything outside the generic websites so I kind of gave up on it for now. Still got my eyes out for divi5 but I feel like I should move on for now because once its publicly out, who knows when you will see assets coming out.
@@AndyHTu I hear you. After you get some basic layout then it's a pain to get the details right. Then what's the point if it's going to come down to that? Anyway, been hearing lots of good things about Bricks but it's expensive.
@@tonybp Yeah i hear a lot of good things about Bricks. Wish I knew about it before I bought Divi. They did a great job marketing it to me lol. I actually love their customer service too, but I've been looking at themes on themeforrest, and there's one I really like. Unfortunately they use elementor as a base and I'm not sure I want to invest in Elementor, eventhough that theme is amazing. Its a tough choice right now....
It's game over for elementor.
I don't know, but Divi 5 will definitely enter again into the top WordPress builders 🚀
Flexbox?
Nick said that will be added after the Divi 5 release, they will work on menus, flexbox, and many other new features 👍
