Of course Divi 5 is better. Divi 5 comes with no new functions. So basicly it is a major builder upgrade. No shortcodes, that is a major step. I hope the websites will upgrade with no problems...
What do they mean when they say no shortcodes are used in divi 5 anymore? Does that mean i cant use shortcodes of plugins anymore to embed them in a page?
@@buildyear86 You will rely on how fast the developer of your plugin will adopt Divi 5. For this moment there is no information how older plugins will work with Divi 5
From the 1st "feature" I don't think it's better. I don't need cloudiness. Don't add a column of information I will only just use once permanently on the side. Awful.
Thankyou you for your valuable content, I have a one doubt will you please resolve it in my divi bulider there is not showing colour adjustment and transparent adjustment option in background colour there is (saved Recent ) available. I facing so many struggle regarding this give a situation sir , I need the colour adjustment strip.
It's the same speed! you can't even move your mouse to do an action on the time Divi 4 and Divi 5 loading difference. Second point. Also not an improvement.
My one complalint is that you can't tell if a particular design element has responsive changes unless you're looking at it on that size. As an example, if you change mobile header size and switch to desktop, you have NO IDEA that mobile has a modified size. I'm not sure how that will affect usability until I can actually start using it.
A correction... When in the settings of one module in Divi 4, you can double click on another to open its settings. You don't need to exit the settings panel first.
@@sitekrafter Great answer Mak, we can't be all the time believing that our builder is the best and the others are inferior. As you say, the important thing is to master your builder, and I would add more, enjoy it while you use it.
@@sitekrafter Divi is just needing a block library with premades and user made templates (including a preview thumbnail of each block) , that really really could speed up the Workflow in Divi 5

Number 3 is not that good, when you are working fast and you can confuse which module you are making changes to.
👋 Merci pour ces explications 👍
Hi. Can you show me how to make long title to show just little text and order text become (....) in elementor?

Thank you for this demonstration - We're so excited for the official release!
Now Divi is not a great thing, i have better options. I think Bricks, Brizy and Oxygen are doing a great job.
Everyone has their preferences when choosing a page builder. My advice is master your page builder.

Wow so much better is this free for anyone who has a lifetime membership?
As far as I know: Yes, most definitely. I remember upgrading to Divi 2, 3 and 4 for free. That lifetime subscription is the gift that keeps on giving!
What if I change my mind about a change I made in a module how can I undo it if I can just close it without saving ? They’d a problem
There is an undo button, like Divi 4.
