One question, I have been managing this in Notion. Any chance I can upload the cost items, say in a CSV file ,with my information rather than adding them one at a time?

Right now, Cost Tracker doesn't support import via CSV files. But please feel free to make a suggestion about this on our feedback site. That way, others can vote for it, letting us know which features our users want the most. feedback.mainwp.com
Congratulations!! Are backups programmable or do they have to be marked manually?
Thank you! Right now, the backup/restore can only be triggered manually via API Backups. However, you are free to create a backup schedule in the dashboard of your respective backup provider.

Great Stuff! Cost- and Time-Tracker are very useful additions.
It would be cool if I could connect the cost tracker entries to a plugin or theme.
So that instead of manually having to pick out the websites where the paid plugin is installed (which I have to look up myself using the websites overview) I could just tell it "all websites that use this plugin"
Is that planned (since you said something about "detection" when you fille dout the slug field) or should I add a feature request?

Right now sites or Clients or Tags need to be selected manually, since not all plugin or theme installations necessarily use your license whose cost you wish to track in the Cost Tracker.

Unrelated question though, is it possible to send an email to a client that lists all the things that need attention? Eg: what updates are needed for the site? As opposed to sending then a report on what has been done. I want to use it to send an email to my clients to try upsell them to a maintenance package with me. Eg: here’s an email listing all the outdated things on your site, you should give me $$ to fix this for you or sign up for a maintenance package. Hope that makes sense.

This is possible with the Pro Report extension. It can contain information about available updates by using tokens for "Pending updates". A list of all tokens is available here: kb.mainwp.com/docs/available-pro-reports-tokens/

@@MyMainWP be great if you could make a video going over advance customising of the pro report form. I only thought you could enable and disable the built in sections.
I don't know if it's just me, but when I update themes, plugins and others, it doesn't show the close button and if it hangs (it happens to me quite a lot) I have to refresh the page...
Hi, if all updates were successful, the popup modal should close automatically. If not all updates were successful, you have to close modal manually.

When they say child sites. Does that mean all sites have to be on a multisite network? Or can the parent be one domain, and child's different domains and not subdomains?
The term 'Child Site' is specific to MainWP and does not relate to a multisite network or to a site being on a subdomain.
The Dashboard can reside on one domain, while the Child Sites can be on any other domains.
It is preferable for the Child Sites not to be part of a multisite network, as MainWP is not designed with multisite compatibility in mind: kb.mainwp.com/docs/mainwp-and-wordpress-multisite-compatibility-test/
