In the first five days of general deer, i am seeing two to four grouse per day. Not one buck. I have jumped three doe out of beds. The smoke and heat has been brutal. We need rain!
@@yups2232 I have a permit for the Weyerhaeuser Pe Ell south area. But, along hwy 6 on the north side is plenty of state land and the birds have always been good there. Also, if you go down hwy 12 to Mossyrock, the Winston creek area is good. Camp 9 mile specifically. It is legal to hunt federal land as well. I live in Lewis county and hunt land mostly in the west end of the county. The east end has a huge amount of state and federal land that is good for hunting.
Thanks for the content, guys.
We’re way under represented out here in western WA. Always great to see hunting videos from the wet side.
That's the way it needs to stay

Hey if you don’t mind, where are you seeing the grouse? Been trying to find some for a while and no luck. Thank you

I have no issues with my 22mag.
Soak in buttermilk overnight
Kenzies 2nd appearance!
There's no reason for orange for grouse. Only during modern deer and elk.
the reason is because of other hunters.
