    Fantastic, just the way Sawyer's book suggests! I usually take 18 inches of wire at the beginning and not use a bobbin at all. Just preference. Another thing I do that isn't in the Sawyer book is, I leave a tag of wire after the whip finish and tag the head with superglue. Then after it is dry I helicopter off. I have had a couple loosen up when spinning off the wire and then there is no way to tighten again. Then after superglue, I always put two coats of varnish. (Superglue turns white when exposed to moisture and is unsightly) the two coats of varnish keep the superglue from "bloom" All the best and thanks for sharing. Sean

      Sean Mooney hi Sean, I used to just tie it without a bobbin but I was wasting a lot of wire that's my only change. I know a few people that use superglue for security and sometimes I'll use it if it's sitting right next to me to be honest. All the best Martyn
