- Half burnout - half drift session, this awesome display shows how much fun a blown big block Camaro can be. Peter Gray is the pilot and he's not shy in throwing the black beast around the old Springnats skid pan.
My generation called this power-sliding.
And YES, donuts do take skill. Look at him dance around those cones (without running them over), ITS MAGICAL!
The sound of the engine at 34-36 sec. Is awesome. I love it!
Who in the world would dislike this??? What fun and sounded awesome!!!
Sao many internet "car guys" on here. Go out and build something rather than bag on someone just having fun. This is obviously a drag car. He's not trying to do a serious drift, just slide around and have fun.
this was john petersons burnout car, he was the legend himself who invented burnouts
Exactly...... most of them don't even have a car and are JDM fanboys who needs their mum's attention
one of the greatest drift videos i have ever seen!!
it is cool cuz the car has far too many power than you need to drift,,,and he's handling that power well.
Great job guys!
That enlighten my day!' hey do you enter drift competitions and say your good at it, are you able to advance from the dirt one you do to the next one to be held and say your real good, are you able to go pro??'
Live in action! Great drifting! Fantastic driving skills!
yes! GET SOME!!! damn i miss racing. That big cam idle is just the best sound ever.
It sure is I bet it gets real sexy under that hood lol
I bet the people complaining have lame rides............ the guys arm is out the window he's just having fun.
he is one hell of a driver ill give him that , very good control with so much power!!!!!
good job
This thing drifts faster then import cars can drive
its nuts how different Aussie car shows are to the states and even the home made vids. we Aussies sure know how to cause carnage! i love it!
I don't understand Import fans. They say Muscle cars only go in a straight line, yet claim drifting in them is child's play. Make up your mind.
SoFre$h
Lmao they dont. Its just a fact that any stock american muscle car handles like absolute shit in anything else than a straight line. But if youre willing to do the supension work, you have the best of two worlds
@@noureldin4372 ok muscle car fan, go watch drift championships and see who's the winner ( always imports )
@@KVN-1000 You're just proving OP's point though. Do muscle cars only handle straight lines or are they easy to drift in?
This ain't no straight line drag car either.
I don’t care what any one says! This dudes having shit loads of fun. All that torque equals big smiles and what a noise. Bring it on.
For all thou's that think he's trying to drift... he's not! usually after a drag race some of the racers put on street tires and just have fun spinning their car around making alot of smoke. His car is set up for straight lines and that's it. I've never seen any D1 racer with a super charger sticking out of the hood. As far as horsepower goes more horse means its easier to maintain momentum in a drift. How many professional drifters use under 500 horse. Can it it be done with less??? yes it can, you can drift with a 175 FWD if you got the skill.
Good one fwit,it's not a drag car it's a purpose built burnout/drift car.It made 600 hp on methanol, very mild for a big block Chev.Go and read a few more street machines brolio.
This kid who lives with his mum and owns a couple hot wheels be acting like an expert in the comments
When your idle sounds like applause, you know you have a proper car.
I suspect this car is not stock.
What gave you that Idea
Nah man it's totally stock.
hahah
Mayby he change his speedometer
they come from factory like that
That guy might not be a drift pro but he sure as heck knows how his car reacts and has full control of what hes driving.... true driver
people are so dumb talking shit about muscle cars drifting! drifting is all about torque. imports that drift have none so they use the turbo for it. news flash ! we have a bunch of high torque v8's laying around! american muscle is a well kept secret for drifting. all this car needs to be a perfect drifter is a better stiffer suspension but it still burns tires. all d1 pro drifters swapped 4banger turbos and v6 turbos to a v8 because it makes sense!
Finally some drifting that is interesting!
It just looks outta place
Sounds like a wild beast and acts the part. Gotta love it.
drifting... not drifting... looks damn fun to me! And I'd rather be hauling around in that than one of those ridiculous little piece of shit plastic rice burners.
Very enjoyable mph skids n skills, refreshing viewing
So where's the drifting?
RB26GRK 1:20 till 1:30
Drifting with a bad ass Dragser... He's KING!!
lmao drag racing is gay scenes when lets be honest here drag and drifting are both cool and lets be real any real car guy would see that thats not drifting its power sliding and spinning out. can the car drift it yes but the driver cant i love muscle more always will but you people have to be realistic about things
That both looks and sounds, like great fun. :)
I was riding shotgun that day with Peter, at the end of the "display" he said "not bad considering we had no brakes..." he showed me how much pedal there was, i Sh*t you not... bout 3mm of pedal. The man #cansteer 😉🤘
One of the best videos on TH-cam👍🏽
I love how the camera guy loses him from all the smoke for a few seconds . hahaha
Damn that was SWEET !!! Now there is a mna with a nice ride with a HUGE set of nads and knows how to drive it !!!!! Really diggin this vid !!!!
Great form, great car control. Gotta be one of the best unconventional drift car videos Ive ever seen.
1:17 Epic badassary
I could listen to that all day long...Love It!
im not a 4cyl guy... im not a big block guy.... im not a drift or drag guy.... im a car guy and as a car guy all cars have their own pros and cons. Mad respect for this amount of torque. Jeremy clarkson voice....: PPOOWWWAAAA
I'm surprised this thing didn't tip over. The dude must've installed really strong suspension on this beast. Great Job, Lad!
@beyond305 no your right, but the amount of skill involved to handle this much power and torque the way he is is pretty incredible on its own.
No hay nada mas arrechante que el sonido de un V8
90% burnout, 10% drift but i was still entertained :)
That is funny as hell. lol That S.O.B. in the passenger seat is waving like He is running for office. lol
That bloody car has MAAAAAD torque yo. He probably just tippin the gas with his little toe.
Its the radial force, that moves his hand out of the window.
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how to have fun with a very powerful Camaro!
Im not even there but just the sound of that Big BLock makes my arm hair stand...
I remember watching this as a kid
the car has the torque to do it and the driver knows how to use it
The passanger was like "I'm so cool" but in fact the car was the coolest :D
That's not drifting, that's turning with style:-D
there is no words to that how beatiful car it is
that car should be in burnout competitions
THIS CAR IS A MONSTER AND PILOT IS A CRAZY!! HAHA VERY GOOD!!
That thing never broke a sweat
THIS is why big blocks are the best. Little throttle with a lot of noise and power.
Hee hee, good clean fun. Nice to see a car i like that drifts.
Now thats some real driving skills, maybe not all drifting but sure sliding one of these is still hard i gurss, havent driven one ofc. Nice Video, Subscribed!
cool car and cool tire smoke!
Thats exactly what I want to have next project car.
cool camaro thats one of the best cars ever besids the mustang
The Camaro is so angry!!!! I love it!!!!!
the 360 was awesome :D
THAT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!
I miss this channel :(
Love that 68
great job filming !!!!
Awesome... 0:23 That happened to me in my (ex) Lincoln Mark VIII 97 in the freeway (since then I carry most of the time a camera in the dashboard lol)
hahaha hes just tapping the gas and its still trying to spin out. doesnt even sound like he ever goes over 1/4 throttle. Crazy power and tq. looks like fun
@xionz83 lol in case you didnt notice, thats not a drifting car, its a drag car. he is just having fun
when i feel a lil sad i just watch this!!
@TonyZXT
That wheel gap is because its got a shortened axle because its tubbed and probably runs HUGE drag radials... and he has regular normal tires on it which is why it looks like that.
Nice sounds!
wooo baby.. look at that power go!
All I can say is thats the type of, hp that demands respect.
DAMN MAN, I WANNA BECOME A GANGSTA FOR DRIVE THIS CAR LIKE THIS LOL
@Wich13 i think your talking about a stall convertor, these ones have about a 2500rpm stally in them. Basically the convertor will slip until it hits 2500 then it grabs and drives the wheels, that's a very simple way of explaining it.
Holy crap! that's awesome!!!!!!!!
muscle cars are the monsters on the street
god damn its like hes bearly taping the gas. that shit has alot of power
this made my day
awesome, I'm guessing that is a full on drag racing car complete with spooled rear end, that normally goes straight and is suspension set up to do so. Then these guys bolted on a set of old tires and wheels on the back instead of the probably 29X14 drag slicks that are on it normally and then went out and spun some excellent brodies, I approve!!!
talk about skill...you one good driver
coolest car ever
Yep, rice burners rely on special tires that allow them to break loose and drift. American muscle just uses somewhere between 500-900ft/lbs of torque to break the tires free, even when the car is set up for drag and massive straight line traction
Awesome video
The car sounds so casual lol :)
That thing clean af
WooHOOOO!!!! What a ride!!
that would make an awesome shopping car
The suspension is way too soft but the co-driver is really badass with that finger pointing!
he is haveing a lot of fun
mmm gotta love the suspension! hehe
In America, tuning starts with a big blower. In Europe, tuning starts with reprogramming of the ECU. Anyway, nice chevy ;-)
DUDE YOU RULE!!!!!!
im not american ,ive driven all the cars & but i must say american cars are beasts ...good for playing racing and kicking some butts
nice car and nice drift ;)
When I was young this was known as a power slide.
@BlakjeKaas
has retreaded/scrap tires with 800+ hp likely..of course it will spin out..plus it has a shortened axel for fat slicks to be tucked under the wells.
1:18 I like that when it´s coming out of smoke :D
It's not about winning. It's about driving what you love. Not what is the best. Yeah the asian cars and euro cars are traditionally better on tracks blah blah blah. But there is a character, sound, and feel of the American V8 muscle cars that, to many people, can not be matched by anything else. Thats why I like this video, he's not proving anything, he's just having fun.
@DonkeyKong619 Methanol Fuel, it's used because it burns at a very low temp so it keeps the engine cooler but you use about 30% more of it.
what a monster car !
