    This is a very strange review, if I didn’t know better I’d think it was sponsored by Toyota. Most of what the charming lady said was well let’s just say embellished. Large 3.3 liter engine???, how about much more highly tuned smaller capacity engine with limited head room for improvement, as to its so called size ? It’s almost the same dimensions as the last 200 series which has been running around for well over a decade, the front seating area feels almost claustrophobic compared to the previous 200, come on really this was a waste of my time watching this, I’m sure she’s could do much better.

    • @rsoul7282
      @rsoul7282 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      When you go to sleep, do you also check under your bed for so called Toyota sponsors? Is it really such a stretch of your imagination that a upper end example of a well liked vehicle could in any way be satisfying for a family to drive? Surely there are some sort of shenanigans afoot though.

    • @jean-louishamid5285
      @jean-louishamid5285 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ziadmutasim1235 The new drivetrain certainly is excellent and the interior improved, but:
      - the interior space is really compromised, as the engine bay is longer than before for a similar overall length.
      - the 3rd row is ridiculous, and probably vomit-inducing for children due to the tall 2nd-row seats.
      - some basic equipments are unexplainably missing, like memory seats.
      - No split tailgate.
      - The car is ugly. Subjective, but it looks like it was stretched to the corners of a shoebox.

    • @deshanmk6
      @deshanmk6 2 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      That's not the purpose of this as much as it is in a BMW X7 or Mercedes GLS.
      The landcruiser is built for reliability and Toyota only uses components they know will last in all conditions, and also stand the test of time.
      You're paying 140k for reliability more than you are for tech.

    • @lorinsdawood842
      @lorinsdawood842 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@deshanmk6 If that's not the purpose of this car then they should reflect that in their price. I've been told after dealer chargers and on road costs you're looking at 160k+. I agree they are reliable but you're paying that much and you're getting a dash similar to a 2005 VW Golf

    • @kbling2946

      @@StephenFogarty2023 yes, but what is the point, in giving the full price when you go into a dealer they have to give you drive away ,so she should of quoted what the true cost is that’s all I am saying. Also atm they are quoting well above recommended retail price.

      I don’t disagree
      But
      Big $$ difference between a vehicle with no options, v someone adding on many options.
      And
      All the on road costs will vary, because dealers can ask whatever they want for DD.
      And
      CTP / Rego & Stamp Duty costs vary in every state, so, as a general rule, publications etc, quote the RRP, before options & on road costs.

    I will never deny the toughness of a land cruiser.. But I don’t think this is up there with the x7 or Benz or Range Rover in case of luxury/ performance/ looks.
