  • The new Toyota LandCruiser may be king off the road, but is the 300 range-topper Series king on the road? 👉 Full Review: www.carsales.com.au/editorial...
The new-generation 2022 Toyota LandCruiser 300 Series has been a sell-out success since it arrived Down Under in late 2021, continuing all of the off-road and towing capabilities that have made it the full-size hard-core SUV to beat for many decades.
But the all-new LandCruiser range has diversified, bringing a sportier new GR Sport and more luxurious Sahara ZX variants at the top of the line-up, pushing prices close to $140,000 - before on-road costs.
At that price, the road-focussed 2022 LandCruiser Sahara ZX competes with a big range of large luxury SUVs, so how does it stack up for buyers more interested in cruising to an inner-city five-star restaurant than an outback campsite?

Almost twice the price of the Everest Platinum, I don't see twice the value here.

Exactly, it’s worth four times the Everest, imagine how you’d feel in the Ford when you pull up next to the Cruiser?

I want to love the 300 series. Its been years now. But theres just so much compromise and you feel like its such a rip off. 6 models in the lineup and none hit the sweet spot for aesthetics and functionality.

$130k? No thanks. There are other better options for less money than this. Buy something or just get the VX

It's an insult to compare the mighty Range Rover to the Land Cruiser. The Range Rover is MILES better to drive. Lots of tyre noise in the Landcruiser 300 you can even hear it in the video.

@@Sleepy_Moon84 clearly you have never owned a range Rover and will never afford it even if given a chance to save 10 lifetimes your worth. You are just regurgitating stuff you read online.
There is no big carmaker that makes a car that will easily break down in 2 years, especially rugged offroders like a range Rover, that's why almost all of them have warranties of 5 years or more.

@@josh3221ify I am literally sitting in the backseat of a Land Cruiser 300 Sahara as I read this. I've had numerous family members buy Range Rovers and sell them on in three years due to how much mechanical problems they have.
