So we did find a fix for the rear wheel shake. It is on Slow_Pev's channel on the community board. Alot of people gave him shit but he was the only one to follow through and actually ride the bike and learn what was wrong with it. Nothing but respect to him.
@@RuffPlugger I must of missed the video showing it actually working properly. I am glad he has been working to try to get it fixed as I suggested to him in my comments when he was talking smack. thank you for the review - yeah I like the "look" of the tank/battery is why I consiered the s6 but after watching a few vids & several comments on various groups im back to looking. [yeah the s8 "might" be better(?) but amyet. . . in truth I might just get another dirt/trail bike, know they are loud, but I can fix them & I know they will get me up the trails. I do have a couple ebikes that are "legal" for the streets - they are fine for that purpose & they "look" like a bycycle that belongs on the streets. sadly I still "want" an emoto tho ;) they will go on sale cheaper for CHirstmas and into the new year. it might be too cold & bad weather, But I can do that at "my" price :)
If I had the money I would buy the Eride pro ss 2.0. Out of the box that bike is pretty amazing and been crushing the competition. I was browsing e-bikes on Amazon the other day and a dirt bike popped up. X-Pro 250cc. I started checking out reviews. It sounds like it’s got some cheap parts but overall the reviews were pretty decent. The price is ridiculous compared to pricing here. It’s a budget dirt bike for sure but heck for someone wanting a cheap option that knows how to work on dirt bikes. Could be a great bike.
@@gearadventures Ive looked at those Xpro bikes also & yeah there are several videos on them my favorite is Mikefestiva Mike is more average sized than me and Im also tempted to try the 150 as really its a light bike and might be a contender [im not so sure about the steel wheels, but a guy could change those out] but out of the box the pro series seem to be good. there are several videos on the xp250 and yeah it is looking good to me too. the only upgrade I see it needs is the nibbi carb, but hey its under $80 after shipping n tax from amazon [it runs fine with the factory carb, I just notice its smoother with the nibbi] Ive had dirt bikes and adventure bikes, even a street bike or few & they were fun & I like to fix them. but these days Im thinking of the possibilities of ebikes. a light one I can carry out or pedal if out of power, or (?) the emoto type look neat, Even tho I know a motor bike will outperform it. and if they have an issue (?) I cant pedal them out.

I already know that it will be a headache to get my money back from them, and I really don't want to be left with a defective product. They should take it off of the market at least until it is fixed. It is also weird that they will tell you to cancel the return shipment and to keep the bike after the fact, but they won't even cancel the shipment and provide a refund. As if they have double standards. Like you said, this will destroy the companies reputation and people will move on to a different company. To bad we have to deal with companies like this at all. I haven’t seen many bad reviews on the S8 but I have never rode one. I been trying to find a good budget bike. As far as Amyet I think I am moving on from them. My customer service experience with them leaves a lot to be desired. I actually called my bank and disputed the credit card charge and got my money back that way, and I told amazon, if they want the bike, they can come and get it.
Im brand new to ebikes and so far I have 2 good ones and 1 bad one. (S6). Hoping that Romeo 2 is a good one. I will get that next week.
Ill let you know if new forks improves the S6 ride, assuming nobody comes and picks this thing up.
What a shame. That was a pretty cool looking bike. They were so trying to stall you so you would be stuck with that POS bike. Sorry you had such a bad experience. Thanks for sharing your experience with us.
@@johnstup4479 yeah I did love the look. The handle bars and riding position were nice too.
There sending me some parts ill keep yall posted
@@scatdaddi3927 yeah, for sure. Will be interesting to know for sure the exact cause of it.
If you read down in this video I am sure you will see the moment I suggested it to him and he listened. I knew that person wasn’t going to be me. I wasn’t getting stuck with a bike that is defective. Amyet has been saying it’s a lot of different things but no one has yet actually fixed it. I know they have sent some weak controllers to some people. Please post a link to the e-bike actually operating properly and what parts actually fixed it. Like how many amps is the controller .. ect. If there is a real fix that has actually worked I am all ears and would like to actually see it working. So far they have sent 15amp controllers I believe to replace the old ones and the bike loses tons of power. Controller amps time volts equals max watts. Another owner has been down this road. I guess slow_perv would know that if he didn’t get banned from the group from being ignorant to everyone trying to act like a messed up bike was okay.
what a horrible experience. thanks for sharing. .... Seems like every ebike I have orderd has one thing or another wrong with it. lol .... luckily most companies have helped with a solution. ... one did have to send me a new motor and I had a bike shop install it and the company did reiumburse me. Glad they honored there part.
thank you for the review - yeah I like the "look" of the tank/battery is why I consiered the s6
but after watching a few vids & several comments on various groups
im back to looking. [yeah the s8 "might" be better(?) but amyet. . .
in truth I might just get another dirt/trail bike, know they are loud, but I can fix them & I know they will get me up the trails.
I do have a couple ebikes that are "legal" for the streets - they are fine for that purpose & they "look"
like a bycycle that belongs on the streets.
sadly I still "want" an emoto tho ;)
they will go on sale cheaper for CHirstmas and into the new year.
it might be too cold & bad weather, But I can do that at "my" price :)
@@gearadventures Ive looked at those Xpro bikes also
& yeah there are several videos on them my favorite is Mikefestiva
Mike is more average sized than me and Im also tempted to try the 150 as really its a light bike and might be a contender
[im not so sure about the steel wheels, but a guy could change those out]
but out of the box the pro series seem to be good.
there are several videos on the xp250 and yeah it is looking good to me too.
the only upgrade I see it needs is the nibbi carb, but hey its under $80 after shipping n tax from amazon
[it runs fine with the factory carb, I just notice its smoother with the nibbi]
Ive had dirt bikes and adventure bikes, even a street bike or few & they were fun & I like to fix them.
but these days Im thinking of the possibilities of ebikes. a light one I can carry out or pedal if out of power, or (?)
the emoto type look neat, Even tho I know a motor bike will outperform it.
and if they have an issue (?) I cant pedal them out.
@@bellyacres7846 of course she'll be cheaper in the winter time because nobody's riding in the winter time except fools like me on my aerial Rider grizzly dual motor dual battery and thank God I've had no problems except for the noise and the front motor
Take care be safe and God bless
I have a grizzly for about 3-4 months now and the motor still making noise I wish I could take it apart and find out but I don't want to avoid the warranty because I'm thinking it needs some Grease
My grizzly at 1000 miles was sounding pretty dry. When I took it apart both motors were dry. I lubed them both up and they sounded so much better. I put a different set of tires on which also voided my warranty so I figured I’d go ahead and lube the motors while I was at it, but I was around a year of owning the bike anyways.
@@gearadventures oh really is it hard to take apart the wheel motors because I know nothing about them there should be a tutorial so people will know how to take these motors apart and lube them up to make them last longer I'm just saying
Thank you so much for the info
God bless

I love my S8 I didn't like the way the S6 looked when I first saw it I stared at the S6 over and over & decided to go with the S8 instead glad I did..
@@Slow_PEV you sound like an idiot because people buy what the hell they want bro I don't understand what you don't get about that you sound straight retarded
@Slow_PEV I have exactly what I paid for and a properly function product i don't need all the extra range you need to move on man ur bike a piece of junk right out the box that simple
I think you were better off ordering the S8. I ordered the S6 and I'm regretting it as the company went ahead and shipped it out instead of refunding or shipping me the S8 instead.
@@BenjaminMeeler yeah sounds like the S8 don’t have the same issues. I think it’s probably because it’s complete 48v system. I really wish they would get the S6 fixed and quit selling it until they do.
@@gearadventures I wish I didn't have to deal with this. I'm sure they read the email and shipped it out anyways because I received the email literally 1 hour after they shipped it out. I sent multiple emails asking them to cancel the order or to change the bike to the S8.
One of my emails was:
My wife and I would like to change our order to the S8 and be refunded the difference please. The S6 has issues that we want to avoid. Please make this change to our order.
Their response was:
Hello,
we are having 6 days holidays so the reply maybe late .
and the s6 ebike has been shipped we can't change it now .
and s6 ebike quality is ok ,before shipping we have tested it and it's new .
also we keep 1 year quality warranty ,
Thanks.
Yeah s8 has half the range and would cost $1000 just for the splitter, 52 volt batteries and a softer suspension setup to match the s8. Try to cope harder but the s6 is actually the best bike for the price.
ill see how it is. Realistically I just need to get to work and back. Any advice on the stutter issue?@@Slow_PEV
@@gearadventuresit is a good smooth ride mostly want to upgrade the tires and battery to 52 v
I'd rather deal with eBay where I bought my S8 then Amazon anyway ppl go through too much to even get in contact with the sellers on Amazon eBay makes it very simple
Get it on temu for 800 I got the ouxi v8 for 609
New sub here and I wanna get a bike or dirt bike. I've had e scooter before but never this. I want mower and range but nothing crazy. Ona. Budget also. Any ideas? Thank you and fyi I have a really bad back but I need to do this
I guess it depends on the style bike you are looking for. I know I am holding out for 2025 wired Freedom model (hopefully a dual motor model) but e-cells 5star and wired freedom are great buys for the money. I haven’t seen many bad reviews on the S8 but I have never rode one. I been trying to find a good budget bike. I would recommend anything you buy that is not USA based company purchase through a vender or store. Like Walmart eBay or Amazon. Will save you some headaches for sure. I will say Letric does make a decent bike too and Wallke has some really nice bikes that are on sale right now. Not sure if that helps at all but might be a good start.
@gearadventures thank you. I need motivation and this is it. I got covid in 2022 and been havinf symptoms every since. Some days I'm ok but most I need a slap in the face.. I got a really bad back but I'm tired of not living my life snd maybe this will help. Thank you and stay safe out here
Yes that noise is unbearable i know from having mine sent back asap
@@YoungTycoon11 yeah. The pulsation is ridiculous. Can only imagine that going up a hill on gravel or something.
I had the same experience with the Ridstar Q20 I tell everybody dnt waste your money on Ridstar garbage in a box

And you should call the better Business bureau and let these companies know we don't want their garbage junk bikes
@@kirkslayden834 You are right it does help. I did try to find them on the BBB. They are not listed. Amyet and Suntib neither one exist with BBB. It took a while but did find them registered in Denver Colorado as a business but nothing comes up with BBB.

@@kirkslayden834 yeah for sure. I honestly think if they do not have a business location in your country, you should either not buy it or purchase through a separate vender like Amazon or Walmart.
There are so many of these bikes out there made in China and a lot of them are just garbage
And garbage customer service 💩
Just have to get the message out there that don't buy certain bikes

Yeah, sounds like it’s hit and miss with some of these e-bikes.
Yeah, I had such high hopes for the S6. Sounds like they have some other E-bikes that don't have issues like this. The customer service experience sort of left a bad taste in my mouth. On to the next one!
The sad thing is that for this price, you might as well go to Rad Power Bikes and get something that is reliable with real customer service and maintenance. It is unfortunate that you had to go through this, and I'm sure that I am about to have the same experience.
@@BenjaminMeeler yeah I agree, honestly might be worth just the little extra money to go with a bike that is a little more well known and mainstream. So far every budget bike I have looked at has been a nightmare. I think company’s that are based in USA might help too. They all get products over seas but at least here there is a set of laws and regulations and you are not at the mercy of other countries laws and regulations. I should have at least purchased from Amazon that would have helped. Well I hope things work out. Have to let me know how you make out.
@@gearadventures I made the same mistake and ordered from the website. Hoping that I can make it through the customer support process smoothly, or I will have to do a chargeback.
As an amyet s6 owner you are nuts to assume so much from a garage video. I have hours of footage on this bike it's actually fun as hell.
@@Slow_PEV I actually watch your videos too. The only thing I worry about is the stutter, but it doesn't seem to be a serious issue. As long as it's not constant
@@Slow_PEV dude you got hours of riding a junk E-bike around. In one of your videos you claim the motor is surging due to the suspension. I could even tell you from my garage that wasn’t the issue. lol It only takes about 20 seconds on the S6 and a little brain power to realize the bike is not running right and it has some type of current issue. Not several hours of riding a bike listening to the motor stutter trying to convince people to not use their full throttle because it so very powerful and shutters. Come on man, seriously?
