@@fishonthebrain6471 sure thing, glad I was able to help out.
Great vid. I'm still looking for a solution for getting mine on the back of the campervan RV that has a rear ladder but no tow-bar hitch. That said, the C21 is only around 17 Kg or 37 lbs, so I'm wondering if I could get away with a standard bike carrier.... (without finding out the hardway by the bike falling off whilst driving........... :) Cheers, Ian
Yeah a regular bike carrier should work fine for that weight. As long as a you can find a good attachment point. I think most are regulated between 25 and 50lbs. It’s also not too expensive to get a hitch attached if you wanted to go that route. Plus you could use the hitch for carrier racks and other things. Here people will get them done at U-Haul centers when moving to a new home. If there is any way of sliding it into the camper, that could also prevent you from having to find ways to keep it locked up. E-bikes are stolen a lot in USA by bike thieves, not sure how bad it is in your country. So the more secure the bike the better.
@@gearadventures Yeah, spot on....I think the theft situation is no different here TBH. Inside the van would be better in the garage space under the fixed bed, and maybe pack the camping chairs & bbq etc up top on the roof rack :) Wouldn't relax sleeping with it locked on the back...
Just my luck😮😮😮😮😮

Great vid! Nice drone work and great editing too! 2:22 - Rookie question - why would the front wheel spin if it's the rear wheel that's powered? or is that where the dual motor comes in? Cheers again, Ian in London
Thanks, when using the front and rear motor at the same time and climbing steeper hills there isn’t enough weight on the front of the bike to keep it from spinning. The grizzly is sort of famous for the front motor spin outs even on flat ground. Both motors 1000watt and peak at 1800 watts but for a steep hill climb using one motor isn’t enough power. Some e-bikes are now doing less watts in the front motor than rear to help prevent so much front wheel spin. Are you thinking about getting a dual motor e-bike?
@gearadventures No. As we don't have so many opportunities to ride off-road in the UK. So I'll be getting hold of a road legal bike which is capped at 250 watts power.....
I almost bought this, but a red flag for me was the weight. If any trouble developed, all that extra weight would make it way worse. Glad I steered clear.

So we did find a fix for the rear wheel shake. It is on Slow_Pev's channel on the community board. Alot of people gave him shit but he was the only one to follow through and actually ride the bike and learn what was wrong with it. Nothing but respect to him.
@@RuffPlugger I must of missed the video showing it actually working properly. I am glad he has been working to try to get it fixed as I suggested to him in my comments when he was talking smack. If you read down in this video I am sure you will see the moment I suggested it to him and he listened. I knew that person wasn’t going to be me. I wasn’t getting stuck with a bike that is defective. Amyet has been saying it’s a lot of different things but no one has yet actually fixed it. I know they have sent some weak controllers to some people. Please post a link to the e-bike actually operating properly and what parts actually fixed it. Like how many amps is the controller .. ect. If there is a real fix that has actually worked I am all ears and would like to actually see it working. So far they have sent 15amp controllers I believe to replace the old ones and the bike loses tons of power. Controller amps time volts equals max watts. Another owner has been down this road. I guess slow_perv would know that if he didn’t get banned from the group from being ignorant to everyone trying to act like a messed up bike was okay.
If you still have them? I'd buy them from you.
@@eyeamchangegaming5412 Sorry, I actually got rid of them about a month ago. I would of just gave them to you.
Did you look into the Spark Bandit
@@murph5150 yeah I saw it the other day. It’s got a pretty big price tag on it for what you are getting.
what a horrible experience. thanks for sharing. .... Seems like every ebike I have orderd has one thing or another wrong with it. lol .... luckily most companies have helped with a solution. ... one did have to send me a new motor and I had a bike shop install it and the company did reiumburse me. Glad they honored there part.
We bought a F3 and a A6 cargo bike. Taken in by marketing and positive reviews. The offer included "free accessories" or "gifts" with purchase, including a second battery. Well, the "free accessories" were the parts already included on the bike (fenders, rear rack, etc.) When I contacted them about the missing second battery, they said that was the battery i received. They had the gall to say that ebikes require a separate battery purchase! I retorted, " so you are selling bicycles, which may be turned into an ebike with an additional battery purchase." I plan to start a campaign on Reddit, Instagram,X. Plus I will contact the California Attorney General's Office, CA Consumer Affairs and lodge complaints. Perhaps there are enough of us for a class action suit. Aipas has locations in Orange County, CA and in NJ. I originally thought they were based here and not a Chinese scam. I had wanted a German e bike, or at least a US one.
@@ptd305 sorry to hear that happened to you. This is what I would expect from them. Just a shady business all the way around. Seems like the battery situation is a major issue with Aipas all the way around. The only positive reviews are because they delete the negative ones. They run the Facebook group page and delete comments on their advertising page too. I got banned from both.
As of right now, I have not had an issue, but it only runs at 20MPH, and they said that it should run 30MPH.

I have an Aipas A2 Elite and after watching your video I immediately checked my bike out and it came out fine. Several weeks ago I talked with a guy that is an avid e-bike guy and he claimed that these bikes are made in a small number of factories (to each distributor's specifications). I ride the bike a lot and found it is as advertised. Sorry to hear about your experience. I have dealt with Chinese vendors in the course of my business and found that your experience sometimes occurs. I have been to China several times and business there is very different than typical USA standards. My understanding is there are few (if any) American manufacturers, so you need to check everything when you take possession of a product.
I wanted to buy one for my whole family, Thank you for saving me over $10,000!
Yes that noise is unbearable i know from having mine sent back asap
@@YoungTycoon11 yeah. The pulsation is ridiculous. Can only imagine that going up a hill on gravel or something.

@@Nift502 thanks
Hey yes solid wheels thinner 5 or 6 spoke , brighter taillights , brake and turn signals.
what is the total hight/diameter of an instlalled and inflated tire?
We have 2 2021 xclass bikes . I switched out the rear shocks on both . I still think the suspension is not that great. Seat is too hard and too wide at the front. Range isn’t close to advertised. I use level 1 assist with more on a couple hills but at 30 miles it is near empty. Otherwise they have held up well .
Ok. I bought 4 ebikes from Amazon. I bought the Amyet S6, Happyrun G50 Pro, Ridstar Q20 Pro and the Romeo 2. I am still waiting on the Romeo 2 so I cannot comment on that but my hopes for it are good. The Happyrun G50 Pro is your run of the mill ebike that can hit 31mph with me on it at 220 lb 6ft. It does what it was advertised to do and me my wife and kids are happy with it. The Ridstar Q20 Pro is a good solid duel 52v battery duel hub motor bike. It goes 32mph and gets there fairly quick. The ride is smooth and I really like it. I feel like it was money well spent so far. The Amyet S6........ Man that bike has so much potential however the ride quality is terrible and almost feels dangerous getting to 33mph. It vibrates and shakes really hard between 10 and 28 mph. If you train yourself to accelerate slowly that does help however the front motor is such a beast it pulls like crazy. The guy who did this review did not experience that because his front hub didnt work. He has no clue how much it vibrates. When I just use the rear hub it feels pretty smooth. But boy you turn that front hub on and as you rip down the road that front wheel bounces big time until you hit about 29 and up mph then it smoothes out. I feel as though the garbage front forks has something to do with it. And believe me the front forks are trash. I believe better front forks would improve this ride big time. As far as the controllers go let me say this. Gear Adventures, if your front hub was working you would know why they didnt run with a 52v. That front rips so hard and pulls so savagely any increase would be dangerous for the average rider. I only wish you had a chance to experience that. It does not disappoint in that realm. Would I buy the bike again? No. Will I keep the one I have and spend more money to upgrade it to resolve the defects in the suspension. Yes. Why? Because it is worth it for me. The duel batteries on this bike mean business in range. They last longer than the ridstar duel batteries. In conclusion if you want a project bike that rips buy an S6. If you want a ebike that provides a solid ebike experience out of the gate DONT buy an S6.
@@priznuruvchrist4549 I might have a little better clue about front motor torque then you think. 😂😂 th-cam.com/users/shortsWZ837xeZvRY?si=vmVTpjLykisyChJM. 52v 30amp controllers with dual motors that peak at 1800watts. If you ever do figure out how to fix the S6 motor shutter please post. I know everyone is scrambling right now trying to figure out a fix, including Amyet. I think Amyet should offer a free S8 to anyone who figures out how to fix the S6. I have been looking at the happyrun G100 pro. It actually looks pretty sweet. Thanks for the information on the other bikes. Good to know for sure.
@@gearadventures My comment about the torque was strictly in regards to the S6 since your front hub was not working. I didnt mean for my comment to be perceived as an attempt to discount any other experience you have had with other bikes. As far as Amyet I think I am moving on from them. My customer service experience with them leaves a lot to be desired. I actually called my bank and disputed the credit card charge and got my money back that way, and I told amazon, if they want the bike, they can come and get it. Im brand new to ebikes and so far I have 2 good ones and 1 bad one. (S6). Hoping that Romeo 2 is a good one. I will get that next week. Ill let you know if new forks improves the S6 ride, assuming nobody comes and picks this thing up.

How much does it cost
@@ArchieHiggins-ig4dc right now I believe it’s on sale for around 3k. Hopefully they update to the version 4 soon
It’s sad to hear about all the issues you have with this bike the S6. I have the S8 and I had the same issues with the rotors scratching but I have it under control. It’s just a matter of adjusting every now and then. Another issue that I have with the S8 is the front fork continuously staying stuck to the bottom and pops up if I hit a bump. These are budget E bikes, and you may want to upgrade certain parts, which I would recommend are the following, the tires, the front fork, And the LCD screen, which you cannot see in the daylight. I do not ride at night so I would need a better LCD screen that I can see in the sunlight during the day. Sorry to hear about the issues you’re having with your S6.
@@0WLeYe yeah I did notice the forks sticking on me some too. The S8 seems the way to go for sure out of the two. The S6 has tons of potential. They just need to stop sales on it and get it fixed and/ or start working on a version two of all their e-bikes with some of the upgrades you mentioned. They could still keep it below the cost of some of these other e-bikes with just a couple small upgrades.

I have a grizzly for about 3-4 months now and the motor still making noise I wish I could take it apart and find out but I don't want to avoid the warranty because I'm thinking it needs some Grease
My grizzly at 1000 miles was sounding pretty dry. When I took it apart both motors were dry. I lubed them both up and they sounded so much better. thank you for the review - yeah I like the "look" of the tank/battery is why I consiered the s6 but after watching a few vids & several comments on various groups im back to looking. [yeah the s8 "might" be better(?) but amyet. . . in truth I might just get another dirt/trail bike, know they are loud, but I can fix them & I know they will get me up the trails. I do have a couple ebikes that are "legal" for the streets - they are fine for that purpose & they "look" like a bycycle that belongs on the streets. sadly I still "want" an emoto tho ;) they will go on sale cheaper for CHirstmas and into the new year. it might be too cold & bad weather, But I can do that at "my" price :)
If I had the money I would buy the Eride pro ss 2.0. Out of the box that bike is pretty amazing and been crushing the competition. I was browsing e-bikes on Amazon the other day and a dirt bike popped up. X-Pro 250cc. I started checking out reviews. It sounds like it’s got some cheap parts but overall the reviews were pretty decent. The price is ridiculous compared to pricing here. It’s a budget dirt bike for sure but heck for someone wanting a cheap option that knows how to work on dirt bikes. Could be a great bike.
@@gearadventures Ive looked at those Xpro bikes also & yeah there are several videos on them my favorite is Mikefestiva Mike is more average sized than me and Im also tempted to try the 150 as really its a light bike and might be a contender [im not so sure about the steel wheels, but a guy could change those out] but out of the box the pro series seem to be good. there are several videos on the xp250 and yeah it is looking good to me too. the only upgrade I see it needs is the nibbi carb, but hey its under $80 after shipping n tax from amazon [it runs fine with the factory carb, I just notice its smoother with the nibbi] Ive had dirt bikes and adventure bikes, even a street bike or few & they were fun & I like to fix them. but these days Im thinking of the possibilities of ebikes. a light one I can carry out or pedal if out of power, or (?) the emoto type look neat, Even tho I know a motor bike will outperform it. and if they have an issue (?) I cant pedal them out.
