Fun little fact. In Chinese culture, peaches are symbols of life and immortality and when you fight demons and ghosts, you use weapons carved from peach wood. So think of that, Po representing life, love and kindness, defeating Tai Lung's rage and vainity

You what's awesome about that line? Although there isn't a direct translation for that, the pronunciation of "today" in chinese is can both mean today and golden day. So in chinese I would imagine the line would go "Every day is golden, that's why it's called today."

hans zimmer is a genius. i'm chinese and i could have sworn this WAS a traditional chinese melody. love your use of the er hu too. really gives it an even more authentic sound.

That was lovely Tina love your work as always. You also mentioned Hans Zimmer I remember way back probably 17 years ago at a guess I worked on his Soundcraft studio mixer a 3200 which was almost as big as my living room I was working in the specials/R&D department then. Its a dinosaur by today's technology. You do have amazing talent! its a very difficult industry but talent will always provide the security.
