The one other thing if this wasnt the problem is check the shifter as well for slop. I noticed from the video your park indicator looks a little off to the right. Ford uses a couple plastic pieces that snap wear out over time. My 03 ford e350 has this happen and $15 in parts should fix your issue. Dorman Part# 83244 and 905-107
So a sloppy shifter was exactly the issue. Made a video about that as well. However, you can't go by the shift indicator. That's a separate system from the actual shifter connection to the steering column. There are two torx bolts that hold the shifter to the column that Ford never bothered to threadlock that generally will back out over time, leading to this no start condition. After I tightened these bolts, problem was solved... until they back out again.
I suspect I have the same problem. I hope you do a fallow up (1997 ford f150 )
Follow up is that since I tightened the screws I've had no crank issues at all. I still need to use some threadlocker, but for now all is well.

A good way to see that is lift up your shifter and try to start. If it starts that's definitely your issue
