Coming back to this video months later to say thanks so much for showing such an in depth look at these bibles! It was hard to decide what leather color and this video sold me on the British Tan. I’ve had my PSQ for about six months now and it’s the best Bible I could have received. Thanks!!

Love those Schuyler British Tan Bibles. I have a couple of those myself. We are very blessed to live in a day and age with so many wonderful Christian resources. Thanks for your review.

Being British, I should actually have a British Tan bible, yet surprisingly do not. Which ones do you have, Mike?

@@artistocracy I have collected most of the colors in different versions. I think my favorite is the firebrick red. Do you have any of the Schuyler wide margins? I think they are the most beautiful Bibles Schuyler publishes. The thicker 38-40 GSM paper also makes it very nice

@@artistocracy Incidentally, my mother was British. She was living in England during WW II

@@mikehoward455 My mother was working in a photographic studio in London in that war as a retouch artist . I have her airbrush packed away. My father fought in that war and his ship was destroyed and he was rescued to the Canary Islands then hospitalised 2 years in England. Tough times indeed, like we cannot imagine.

@@mikehoward455 No, Mike, I don't have a Schuyler wide margin bible, but have the firebrick red KJV Treveris. I'm not sure I could justify buying anotther bible since I am not short of something to read. Is it ride to ask how many bibles you have which are premiums? You do not have to answer that, either :-) I have an Allen 62 Longprimer Silver Line petrol blue for sale on eBay Aust, brand new, which is a nice bible, too.

Ooh...I love British Tan and wonder if I will every get one? I asked Evangelical Bible if they will be getting a British Tan Quentel PSQ NASB '95 when they come later this year? But they said none coming, yet there shall be other colours... but no BT :-(
I may get the black one, just to be different.

British tan really is nice. Schuyler still need to make a British tan full yapp I think...
Simply scaling a Bible text down to retain pagination is rather clever. It makes printing smaller Bibles simpler since line matching should remain intact, and it also makes it possible to move from one size Bible to another with ease, since you can pick up right where you left off in the text. Those Bibles then become a set suitable for any occasion.

Which size would you recommend for daily reading? I like to read sitting in the living room on the chair or couch. Thanks!

      Quentel

May I ask why? Do you think the PSQ is too small for a daily reader? My concern with the larger one is I like to just hold it up with one hand as I read and turn the pages with my other hand. Would the larger one be a little bulky for that? I really don’t like to use a table/desk during reading. I am just coming to know the Lord and want a beautiful word of god that I can cherish for years to come. I’m not really the collector with multiple types of bibles. Thanks so much!

@@orangemanbad I’m so happy to hear that brother! I would say that the PSQ would be a big enough text for you. I carry that Bible with me everywhere and it’s very easy to read from.

Thank you! So why do you recommend the full Quentel over the PSQ? I’m just nervous because it’s a big $ purchase want to make sure I order the right version! Thanks again

The Quentel are very floppy, the goatskin in that size are very floppy, the combo is excessive in my opinion. I don't think I'll ever get another goatskin Quentel for those reasons, possibly a calfskin variety with full yapp though.
The PSQ goatskin are a little shifty but they're not awkward, not a toss around the car book but fine for your house. Calfskin is definitely a better option if you're not wanting maximum pliability. You'd think the calfskin PSQ w/full yapp would be overly rigid but they're really not, they do have a definite clamshell case effect to handle safely yet pop right open and the paper shuffles just the same afterwards, had I known that I'd have a stack of those now.
