Hey guys! I hope this video gives you some more confidence next time your tasked with Dropping GBU-10's or 31's in your DCS F-16C or any other small aircraft in DCS!

Another reason I'm excited for the f-15e thanks to size of thing and most weapons being very close to centerline you'll barley notice the difference if you drop a 2000pounder
You already have that with the F-14 ANYTIME… Baby!
Looking forward to the F15E here as well!!! I wanted to see how the F14 would perform in a similar test. I tried dropping half the weight, 1000lb mk83's on the closest equivalent weapon station of the f14. While flying at the approximate speed of the F16 in Spud's video, the F14 rolled somewhat quickly to the opposite as well, requiring a good amount of trim. (and that was only a 1000 pounder). The F16's roll rate after dropping a 2000 pounder doesn't seem bad at all considering the difference in weight and wingspan.

Interesting to see the reactions from RAZBAM on the release of this start-up video. I think we all know that usually a start-up video is only released when the plane is about to be released. Further it is likely to be done by RAZBAM own real F-15 guys.

Interesting discussion about the dampening effect of outboard ordinance. To be honest I thought this video was going to be about the differences between trimming the flyby wire vs conventional aircraft. How the FLCS auto trims to 1g so you never need to trim, or why you trim pitch in the F18 and not the F16 on approach.
Amraams on the wingtips may serve a purpose, but it looks WRONG
like this video, but you cannot "precisely" tap he trim button in the 16, hope ED will fix this soon.
When loaded with an tgt-pod you should always be in cat III

So why don’t u drop the right GBU first? Given that the tgt pod is on the right side as well I thought this would counter some of the first violent reaction.
Because the targeting pod is so close to the centerline of the jet it’s rotational moment it imparts on the aircraft is really negligible so it’s not gonna do much for you in terms of making the reaction of the aircraft less violent when you drop the weapon.
