The market is completely saturated and people aren't buying as much as they have over the past several years, there's gonna be a lot of overpriced inventory sitting on shelves. I'm still buying bottles but I'm very choosy these days.

My whiskey shelf is filled with too many opened bottles that I didn't love shoved into the back, hoping they'll get better over time… So it's always good to get warned off of bottles, especially when they're hyped. (Y'all should try to say the name of the Booker's batch, though, so we don';t have to look it up.) Much obliged!
I bought an Ezra Brooks Cask Strength. Not for me either. Not that it is bad per se, but it's just another $50 bourbon in a sea of $50-60 bourbons sitting on my shelf. The Rebel Cask Strength is better to my palate, and even with that I have limited interest in drinking it....Better choices in similar range...4R Select, JAck SBBP, Russell's SiB, OF 1920 and 1910, Stellum, Still Austin, Dickel BIB, Rare Breed, John Bowman SiB, New Riff SiB, Chattanooga 111, etc... the list goes on an on. Bottom line I wish I could have my $50 back.
I rarely am willing to spend over 100 for a bottle. Hence why I don’t have a WT or Russell premium bottles those are way out for me. The older I get the more I stay with shelfers. I’m happy drinking Rare breed and Russell’s single barrel OF 1920 Everyday I have never been a hunter or camper just don’t have time for that I like walking in and getting a bottle I want and walk out.
I was tasting at a liquor store in KY last month and they were pretty down on the Buzzard's Roost so I didn't try it. Too many good whiskies available.
They're similar. I've had multiple bottles of the Ezra and the Rebel, both at 113 proof in their Distiller's Collection, and I would give the slight edge to the Rebel. Both of these are young at four-to-five years so temper your expectations.

I’ve only had YellowStone. I’ve had 3 separate bottles and have not cared for any of them. I won’t buy anything from them. Great video guys.
A friend gifted me the Yellowstone Select and sadly I agree with you, not too impressive. It's been relegated to mixer status.
If I don’t like something about the taste I just pass on it. Price doesn’t matter.

Nice video, I have to agree with the Yellowstone. It's not bad but, haven't found one yet that excites my pallet
I agree buzzards roost is OK, but not for $80. Bookers should be a $70 bottle, but yellowstone is good for $32.99 here. Great video thanks

Ezra and Rebel bottles you need someone with a good palate to choose the barrel and go for the pick. The rest I'll just pass on.
Bookers can be hit or miss. The Mighty Fine Batch from last fall was definitely worth $100. I agree the Yellowstone isn't bad but it is overpriced.
