I have all those bottles minus Barrel and I've had a pour b4. I agree completely. If I had to live with only 3 budget bourbons for rest of my life, the 3 Jamie loved would be my picks.
Howdy folks! Very nice lineup..The white label and Michters are all time faves..1910 catching up! I have several 13th Col but in a recent blind they did not do as well. Need to get that Barrel! Appreciate the share y’all!
I'd agree that these are all great bottles at the SRP. My favorites and the ones that drink the most above their price tag are Barrel Foundation and OF 1910. Michters small batch is one of my least favorites in this lineup. Solid pour but not something I rebuy unless its on sale for $40 or in a bundle at the distillery.
I've only tried three of these and I bought the OF 1910 to try based on this and an SLB video. Also, I don't believe 13th Colony is available in Michigan. For me, out of the ones that I have tried, my ranking is: 1. Michter's (one of my favorites) 2. Bardstown White Label 3. Barrel Foundation (good, just not great like the other two) I can't wait to try OF 1910 as the tasting notes sound exactly like my faves.
A few weeks ago we did an OF blind. David would have agreed with you 💯 until he blinded them. 1924 was first for him but 1910 beat out 1920. I will find you the link. If you ever blind them let me know the outcome.
To each his own I guess. Sometimes I think it has a bunch of flavor and is one of my favorites. You cannot go wrong with 1920 and if I had some open and was looking for something higher proof I would pour it in a heartbeat. I have not been fortunate enough to find the 1924.
Not really the point of the video. How taste + quality + experience +price = value. There is so much more to it than saying a $30 and under bottle is value. Because I’ve had some $30 and under bottles not even worth that price. A few videos ago we talked about our favorite budget/ affordable bottles we like to drink.
No, value is if you'd pay more for something than it costs. A $200 bottle could be good value if you think it's worth far more. $30 and under video would be called good "budget" options or good "bottom shelf" options because like he said, $30 could still be too much to pay for a crap bottle.

Love my 1910, also Barrels are very interesting. Great blind
OF 1910 is one I've always had and will always be on my shelf!
🙌🏼💯❤️🥃
The way Jaime lights up when she drinks Old Forester will always be funny
I absolutely love Old Forester 1910, I also like Bardstown, I’ve only had the Bardstown bottled in bond, really good.
I prefer the black label Bardstown BIB. It drinks like a good solid 60-65 BIB product. The White label was more of a 50-55 pour.
Nice choices! You are like a Hound Dog at picking that 1910 every time:)
😂😂💯
Good thing you caught that, I was scrolling down to point it out.
😂😂yes
Absolutely agree 100%. Great video guys. Enjoy!!🥃🥃🥃
Appreciate you! Hope to see you on our charity livestream tomorrow!
Great content. David should only give Jamie Old Forester
Yes please!
Would love your opinion on the Bardstown original series high wheat new release..
I will have to revisit. We tried it months ago in Kentucky. Think we have a bottle. I will get back to you!
Jaime would put some drug dogs to shame! Got that OF nailed every time! 🥃🥃👍
One out of the only 4 distilleries I even can call out! 😂😂 Thank you Stuart!

@@Beyondwhiskeyrow Wow, love the OF 1910!!!
Good stuff-cheers guys🥃
Thank you! Cheers to you
Old Forester 1910 vs 1920 is like Biggie vs Tupac or Gilmore vs Waters.
😂
It seems that 1920 has lost a step or two in the last year or so according to many of the whiskey reviews I’ve been watching 😢
@deankruse4491 - Could be. The bottles I have are from 2019 - 2021. Now I am curious to do a blind comparison.
knob 12- 47 bucks here
THANKS GOOD TO KNOW FOR A NEWBY
Cheers newbie 🥃
Super informative blind. Great choices.
I have a 1910 and 20 open on the bar now. Mix them and discover the magic.
Mix 50/50 or what ratio?
@@adamskove I believe it is indeed a 50/50 blend because I often hear it called 1915
Two of my favorite bourbons, but to be honest I prefer them separately.
May have to experiment
She good!
Thank you! Lol I know like 4 distilleries pretty well. Bardstown, OF, Buffalo Trace, and Jim Beam.
I can get the mitchters small batch for $38
I don't get the obsession with OF1910! It doesn't have much flavor to me. Prefer 1920 or 1924...or mixing 1910 with 1920.

I typically prefer higher proof bourbons but I do prefer 1910 to 1920.
Value is $30 and under. Maybe even $25 for most people. You're a little outta touch with this list.

@@RhinoViper nope 👎🏼
Unless your bottle is different, 13th Colony is 95 proof. Graphic says 85.
Typo! Thank you
