I have this one… perfect… I only changed the thinner outer lines against 5mm paracord lines … super tent 4 seasons 😜👍🍀🔥🥩🔥

Awesome, I use paracord for most of my guylines anyway

No it was pretty cheap. I gotta reactivate my Amazon associates and drop the link

If I had the money and didn't care about weight I'd do a canvas tent

I just don't understand no-floor tents. It seems a great way to have a wet floor or lots of crawlies or even snow. Why no floor?

One simple word, Dogs. We have two dogs and they're our boys, campdogs that don't have short pampered nails so they can dig and climb and grip the rough trails. They perforate tent floors and tarps. We put tarps under our bedding and gear, but otherwise use debris or natural ground. And if flooding happens it'll go through the tent floor anyway and having bare ground you can disturb helps water drain

@@TheModernNativeTribe Then here's an idea. There's a TH-cam channel here where the guy shows how you can make an old bedsheet into a waterproof tarp. Easy peasy and works well. Naptha and pure silicon, available from any home store or Ace Hardware. Something like 1.5 liters of naptha and one tube of plain silicon. He covers the process here on channel NightHawkInLight

@@TheModernNativeTribe An old bedsheet may be cheaper and more durable than an expensive ground tarp, and a few punctures would be irrelevant

Lol 2 dogs, 8 paws, 32 nails making contact for every step and we camp full time. That's millions of punctures lmao. No matter what I use unless I lay down plywood it's going to get run through. I'd rather not voluntarily invest money I don't have into something that will get destroyed and not be useful anyway. Plus it's less weight. I don't use a ground tarp.
