Greetings Dean. May i congratulate yourself and Lauren for the success of your business. Running any business must be difficult, however, running a business in which one receives pleasure must be an honour. Your knowledge of the motor industry is exemplary and all praise and compliments to you are well-deserved. Your most valuable asset is, ofcourse, your parents. Trevor and Kath are diamonds. Forever, be you. Forever, be Trevor and Kath. Love and respect always. 🙏
I do 'like' the 1M, but I have never grown to 'love' them. The prices they fetch, are simply down to the rarity, a bit like the Cosworth Sierra Ford tax. Very good cars, but I never found them 'great'. I get the whole big engine in a small coupe thing, absolutely, and because they are quite old, you get that analogue feeling, hydraulic steering etc, yes brilliant. But .... I find them quite ugly to look at, and the handling isn't really that 'fun' unless you are a driving god with the reactions of a cat, to catch the spiky way they let go. Even though it is only worth half, or maybe a third of the cost, I much prefer my OG M2, it's a much prettier car, faster, and better handling which lets go in such a predictable way, they you can exploit driving on the edge a whole lot easier. This for me, makes it more fun, and ultimately a much better car.
