Romani languages vary significantly around the world, but they are generally a combination of an older original Indo-Iranian language (other examples of such languages are Hindi, Urdu, etc.) and whatever the local language is where they live. This means that Roma in England will speak an Indo-Iranian language with elements, such as grammar, words/phrases and accent/pronunciation, taken from English, which is a Germanic (more broadly, Indo-European) language, whilst in Hungary they will instead incorporate such elements from Hungarian, which is a Finno-Ugric (more broadly, Uralic) language.
