To those who've seen the 2001 Finals - was Shaq just too good or was Mutombo too old to contain him? I've heard that he was a great defender and just three years later Ben Wallace slowed Shaq down enough for his shooting colleagues to outshoot the Lakers.
Just watched the 2001 Finals and Mutombo is too old to guard Prime Shaq. For Wallace though, Shaq is a fucking balloon at that point, and I'm not really confident that he can guard the 2000 Shaq.
