Speyside is a great place to be Tommy , not just for the fishing there are so many distilleries making the amber nectar in the area . we had great meal in the evening after fishing then a wee dram for a nightcap. Cheers iain 🥃

Hi Iain. Lovely conditions on the Spey but still no takers. I didn’t see anything showing either so they must of been very deep and making the most of the water. Lovely scenery yet again Iain even though you didn’t catch what a great place to fish. Cheers Iain🍷. Steve.

There were fish caught quite a few miles upstream Steve. That showed fish were going past . I did have a fish pull at the fly but it may have been a big trout and there were the odd sea trout showing down stream. I am in the middle of editing beat D from a different perspective and will need to see how it works
      Cheers Iain 🥃

Well done Ian nice to be out, still early. I can't get out for a cast river in full flood every day. That's Ireland for you.

Ireland and Scotland have the same problem Paddy. The rivers always seem to be high at the start of each season. when you think about it we have beautiful countries everything is green and the abundance of wild flowers and wild life are things that a lot of countries envy. we have to just take our chances with the fishing when we can Tight Lines. Cheers Iain. 🥃

Its a lovely beat to fish isnt it. That top pool you started in I had a big pull third cast you will see it in my video out on Sunday. I also had a big pull in the last pool you fished in but quite a bit further down.

I think that we were unlucky with the river hight when it rose while we were there . Getting a fish pull at the fly was a bit of success . I will have a look at your video shortly . I have been busy having fun and now trying to play catch up all the best Tight Lines Cheers Iain. 🥃

Hard work Iain but the location makes it easier....and there's always lunch and a hot cuppa......

The company was most enjoyable Mr Mazo . lunch time was a treat as the fire was always on and plenty to eat . a long story but the malt in the evening was a served from a teapot
      Cheers Iain. 🥃
