This story reminds me of my daughter. We lost her daddy when she was 9. He was on life support for 8 days 2 times they had pronounced him dead the first time on my Birthday. I lost my bestfriend and Husband . but my kids have lost a big part of thier life . As a widow i struggling to make ends meet. I am so happy thier are kind people who helped this young lady. God bless y'all

Melts my heart just seeing this video lost my parents two days apart when I was 15 my mom died of pneumonia on a Friday night my dad died Sunday morning of cancer I ended up living in a barn for a little over six months found me a job at $3.75 an hour save my money so I could afford to buy me a mobile home it was old but I made it home out of it I worked hard and started painting houses on the side till I finally got enough work and good enough at my job of painting that I could quit my other job I'm 53 now and I've been self-employed for 33 years I would like to think my mom and dad would have been proud so the story hit home with me God bless us all and be kind to one another

I will always miss them and doing my best to make them proud of me. We all only have a short time on this Earth make the best of it. Keep the Lord's love in your heart he will get you through it. Yes I am. Doing alot in lords service. I understand how it feels when you lose your parents Cus I too lost my dad 5 years ago an am grieving over it, as the Bible say at revelation 21:4 that the dead will be able to live back again on this earth. So am waiting for him to see him again, same way ur parents too will come back to life.. U can read that scripture. Too hope your having a good day ahead.. Am an Indian.. Much love from. India.. i was an orthodontic technician for over 18 years and worked for MANY doctors... never have I seen such kindness! I had always wished the doctors I worked for would do things like this for the community and deserving people. Instead, it was always how much money can we get out of each patient. I have since left the profession to pursue a nursing career due to the negative working environment. Kuddos to this generous doctor! Keep up the good work, it awlays cones back tenfold! :)

I lost both parents before the age of 26 . I start being a nurse at age 13 to my moms and 18 to my dad. Watching the clock count down on your parents is the worst thing ever. And to continue school, take care of them and work with a smile. Is the hardest thing ever. This lady is so much stronger than some could imagine. Salute

@ataye1 I am so sorry for your loss, I know what it is like, we lost my paternal grandmother who I was named after, saving another persons life, and that was 2 weeks before my Junior year of High school, that entire year I had to help my dad take care of her estate since he was disabled and in remission of his 3rd type of cancer.... My senior year was hard as we were told my dad was never in remission and he had a lot of medications to have by a PICC line (long term IV line), so at 18 going to school having to drive everyone around and take care of him on my shift. (see below for a "joke" about this below) The entire year he was excited to see me graduate and we had to make arrangements for his disability as he could not stand or sit, he had to lay on his side, so we were buying a couch for the graduation, my high school staff, were good on helping the accommodations. Two months before I was set to graduate his temperature spiked even though he was getting high doses of antibiotics, so his "home nurse" that checked in 2 times a week called an ambulance to take him to the hospital... He passed away a few days later... He had me trained to take over everything in case my mom couldn't. I knew what he wanted for his funeral, with my mom, I got all that taken care of.. (Even protecting her from her parents pure evil) We got through the funeral, the wake etc... Hard part for me was canceling the order for the couch... It is hard getting through it, and never think you can get through it... but after its over you are a stronger person for it.
"Joke" About the medical field rules. I at 18 with NO medical training, I was giving my father IV medications, strong antibiotics, blood thinners and other dangerous medications... Totally allowed (at the time at least) However, many, many years later, after a lot of medical training, I worked in a hospital, and I couldn't touch a PICC line to get blood for testing, yet the RN's could... RN's are overworked and under paid, now I had to bug them to get the blood... totally stupid rules but understandable....

"I do hurt a lot". Hopefully this pricelessly courageous and infectiously happy woman has a support system to lean on through that hurt. Perfect candidate for this, as her energy and personality are a bright sunshine that even bloom through the darkest of clouds.

This just made me cry what a blessing it is for her and it’s rough not having your parents my wife lost her mom last year due to cancer and it was hard for me and my wife to go through and everyday we just look up at the sky say we love mom because my wife mom was another mom to me she will always be in my heart and never forgotten

Oh my! This is 100% by far my favorite TH-cam video! You don't know what a good smile with good teeth will change a person's life! People look at a person that has no teeth, like me, and just think well they didn't take care of their teeth. However that is not the case for me. I have been on lots of medicine over the years battling crippling osteoarthritis and the medicines cause dry mouth which in turn caused my teeth to decay. I am now in the process of having them all pulled to get dentures but it is slow going due to money issues. I have sang in church all my life and hope to one day get back to doing what I love but I can't do it til I get my teeth fixed. Watching what you did for this young lady really touched me and I wanted to tell you thank you for changing that girls life.
