Young couple facing hardship breaks down when they receive a gift from Secret Santa

- Ashley and Jace Alvarez are the young parents of three children who have been through a lot this year. Ashley suffered a stroke, had several heart surgeries and during her last pregnancy came down with some very serious health conditions.
During all of this, Ashley and Jace have worked with extended family members and friends to make sure their kids are cared for. Jace has been working part time to help care for the family and transport Ashley to the hospital for medical procedures and appointments.
They have tried their best to be self-sufficient and are loved by many people.
When Secret Santa heard about the Alvarez family, he asked the EastIdahoNews.com elves to go pay them a visit with a special gift.

@@Toppradd That's horrible, DB. I have arthritis in my neck, hand, knee and foot (all on the left side curiously). I take Moringa leaves to help with inflammation. I used to get migraines almost daily until I found a way to sleep at night.
I have to weight lift and exercise to keep the arthritis at bay or it will eat me up.
Daily stretches help.
I wish I could give you good advice to help but I don't know what you are going through. I can only imagine.
Pray constantly. I came across the sleeping position by chance when the migraines were driving me insane.
Barry Maynard - kudos...actually i manage pain n associated symptoms with Medical Cannabis- 100%. Weened myself off doctor prescribed oxycodone n fentanyl patches...its no joke...truly amazing plant, not a “cure-all”, but valuable tool in my tool box...
@@Toppradd I'm slowly weening myself off the Inflammation pills. Doctors wanted me to pop those pills 3 times a day (200mg). I am now taking 1 every three days. The moringa leaves really helped.

@@Toppradd would a posture corrector strap help?...you can get them for about $15 online...I ripped my shoulder out of its socket way back when and all my back is messed up - and its the only thing thats ever helped me....like I mean total agony and after wearing the strap for a couple of hours it'd begin to reset my posture and soon after the pain would be gone...

I know what you mean.. I am far from wealthy and have many health problems of my own, but I always find a way to help others in need. I remember many years ago when the internet had just started a woman I knew told me her husband beat her and left her and her daughter with no money and no food and Christmas was about 10 days away. I didn't have much but I asked her could she use 200 dollars? she typed very loudly YES.. and are you sure? and all of that.. then we had to wait until my check got there.. that was stressful, but finally it arrived. she was sooooo happy and was able to buy her daughter presents and buy a turkey etc. It always feels good knowing you helped someone. So Each year I try my best to help someone especially at Christmas. just make a savings account and each month put in about 20 dollars. keep doing that and by Christmas you will have a nice chunk of money to help someone in need. :)

Truth. Material things to me are a waste so I enjoy what I can in giving to others. To have a mil or more to give away would be too cool. To be able to help people through struggles we all go through. Giving always comes back and I feel blessed to be able to do it. Charity is the main reason I'm striving for the mils.
@@sshza11 well you know I also sent much money over some years to help people in Vietnam .. I would help the poor there during TET holidays.. their biggest holiday of the year. but one time I was in need. my job layed me off...I ran out of money.. and was in trouble. my Vietnamese friends.. 3 of them ALL SENT ME money! I couldn't make my car payment.. and my bank account was about to go under...then suddenly 200 dollars arrived in my account from one of my friends. Then later another 200. but my sister Mai as I call her.. over 2 months she kept me going and sent me a total of 1500 American dollars. I recieved almost 2,000 dollars from the Vietnamese people.. my friends.. because I had been good to them and helped them.. I was very shocked they came back to help me, but they did.

Exactly what I was thinking that moment too. They did not know each other 10 minutes earlier. This happened because when people give, God steps into us. It is so simple. That is why this whole world is so desperately being told (by the devil's mouthpieces) to think only of me and my things. “So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets *AS THE HYPOCRITES DO IN THE SYNAGOGUES AND ON THE STREETS,* to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full.”
It sounds like Jesus is condemning the Jews for announcing their gifts to the needy, yet in the very next sentence it sounds like he’s praising them saying, “they’ve received their rewards in full”.
Would you mind helping me to understand why it sounds like he’s contradicting himself?

I'm just a single mom, working two jobs. But even the smallest of gestures, make the biggest of impacts on someone's life. A hug, a kind word, a meal, or paying for someone's gasoline. We can all make a difference in this world. I truly feel that our purpose as human beings is to help lift one another up!! I hope that you all have safe and happy holidays! when I was 18 I had a newborn 2 month old daughter and I lost my leg,,,it was scary and we fought every day to keep nose ABOVE water ,,,,, we been married 41 years now and I am telling you if we were this couple I would have fainted right there ,we are still trying to keep our nose ABOVE water and I am thankful to see a young couple like them receive such a wonderful gift of love and kindness, and I would still faint !! lol GOD BLESS YOU ALL !!

That's the fantasy, isn't it? Have enough to not worry about the basics, and get the free time to search out recipients for you to be Santa. Still, that $10-20 it takes to buy a ticket seems like a waste of money.

I've watched a lot of these videos because it makes me happy to see others happy. The reactions are wonderful. This couple is exceptional though. It's the first time I've seen such a loving, supportive, awesome family unit who carry on so positively and humbly. I was astonished when the husband not only thanked and hugged the reporter, but the camera person and the whole crew. What a heart. 💓

This was such a great thing to do for this family. They honestly deserved it, you could tell that even though they were going through rough times financially that they were a close loving couple that stood together.

Update: I found her on Facebook. She is still undergoing many surgeries. As of December 1st, 2021 she's had 34 surgeries. Poor girl, she's still going through a lot. It would be nice if Secret Santa were to be updated on how bad things are for her.
I am. not sure how it would be possible - I live in UK but someone somewhere should see this and try to help out - a FB fund page, a fundraiser - I would donate to that

I have no clue how I ended up on these secret Santa videos but I’ve cried watching everyone. This one hits particularly close to home for me. I’m pregnant with our 6th. It was not part of our plan, but obviously part of God’s plan for us. I developed some health problems during my last pregnancy that have only intensified during this pregnancy. My heart is overwhelmed watching the kindness of strangers on these secret Santa videos! God Bless.
