You forgot to mention the big ball of madness that will almost instantly kill you when you walk up the hill and then I got completely bombarded by the dude next to the church of inhibition.
The absolute worst part about this is trying to defeat the white masks as a level 50 as the stupid birds are one shotting you.

the little glowing pillars on parts of the map you haven’t found the map for yet, are actually where the maps are i just found this out at level 70 😐

You dont need to get to the snowfalls area, you can use the medallion of mohg thing he gives you for invading 3 players worlds at that part of the quest at rose Church and it will take you to this area, as depicted in the rune farm videos, just in case anyone wants this stuff a little earlier in the game

@@D00M3R_MAVS yup exactly, just use the rune and beware that the area is pretty hard you're gonna be getting one shot by some moves if you go early but shouldn't be a problem if you just wanna pick some stuff up.
Awesome video! Only critique is that it would be awesome to get more map shots and explanations for every step when moving around. I got stuck for way too long on a few steps.

If the invaders don’t spawn together, it would help out if you tell us where they exactly are. Turn left in a souls game in a blind snowy field won’t help out alot of us.
It's due west of that spawn point. Near the edge. Took me forever to find it

There is a really good rune farm when you use the medallion which I’m sure all of you already know. It’s just difficult to get through the blood swamp to reach the “Palace approach Ledge-Road” grace.
To my offline friends you can still do this quest. Just combine it with the volcano manner quest. The three invasion you gotta do for the letters count for this quest. No online needed!!

If you’re speedrunning to get the bouquet , just use the medallion as soon as you get it and you tp to this area
You don't need to reach the snow area or have the medallions yet, just use the "Pureblood Knight's Medal" he gives you to teleport right to to the bottom of the steps to Mohg lol

Edit: He literally said at 1:21 'To get where you're going next, we need to reach the consecrated snow field.' Which is just straight up misinformation.

you can also just use the medallion varre gives you (will port you straight to the boss) and just unga bunga your way to victory. Then get them both if you want ,great vid!

Guys a small update, i managed to kill varre in the same place as the video got his flower but he did not invade me so i didnt get his armor
Pro tip, from the grace on top of the hill, use a bow to hit the bird in the swamp, it will fall off and die then you have pretty much that entire area clear to fight the second Varre invasion without worrying about those OP birds one-comboing you

You will not get invaded in the snowy region if you beat Mohgwyn. They just show up in the bloody bath area after you kill him.
so if I managed to kill Mohg, that means I can't get that armor in this run? or can I beat them now and the bloody bath to get the armor?

@@asdugreeneyes I tried everything, and they just wont invade. But I went straight there after NG and they will invade you if you dont kill Mohg or Varre first. I think you can kill Varre but I wouldnt risk it. So the only solution is to come again after you start a NG.
Ive been trying to get to Mohgwyn Palace, but nowhere else has mentioned i need the Haligtree medallions and to use them at Rold, so thank you so much for the video! ill need to work on this quest!

Can you still get the invaders to spawn if you kill Mohg first? I know there's a glitch where if you kill the area boss you won't get invaded
You can just use the Pure Blood Knights medal to instanty travel to mohgs palace you don't need to go find the teleporter

So I killed the lord of blood and then invaded and killed Varre after. I’ve been walking around the invasion areas in the lake for a while now and haven’t had him appear. Perhaps because I killed Mohg first?

Absolutely same here, hopefully we get this resolved as it seems people have gotten invaded after killing Varre.
im so fucking confused with this quest line. oml... should I have not used the medallion? I used it and then went back to the church and he wasnt there anymore. I didnt explore the area at all I just teleported there and then left. Does using the medallion mess up the quest?
the video does not explain the nuances of this quest and where we can mess up which is really fucking annoying

If you use the medalion right after varre gives it to you to go to the farm area does it screws up the questline?
Just kill the invader 3x at the place and touch the very first grace I haven’t invaded him to get his weapon though I’m gonna hold off on that later on

i recognized that there are in total 3 invasions in mogg even though u only need 2 to be killed for getting the set

I'm so stuck on varre, his catch flame spell comes out so fast and takes off 80% of my health. Fire resistant gear doesn't seem to help.
It has very short range, try using a longer weapon and keeping medium distance

he expected me to use finger to invade on people to flex on hosts....
reality on my end is that me and the host just sat down or have a nice duel (mostly i just died cuz low HP dodge build)
It says to wait to use the medalian, is there any reason? Or is it unknown or does it not matter?
I really feel like it matters. He was saying things that made it seem like an alternate ending for the game. Begin the Mohgwyn Dynasty. Just speculation though. Could be DLC related.
I feel like it doesnt matter. I just went straight to Mohgwyn using the medal. Fully explored the area, got invaded by the nameless-white mask, killed Mogh, and then invaded Varre. Unless you want that armor set he was talking about.

@@Solbashio I havent seen a single person say they did it in the exact order i said. all I see is people saying they killed Mogh first before the nameless white mask. But either way this is the exact order i did things and completed the quest. I dont know what else to tell you.

U also can go to the dead maiden in the starting area where u fight the grafted scion to wet the white cloth in maidens blood

when you kill varre, you use the bonfire and they go back to where you killed him. He will give his bouquet
its seems that i skipped the first invasion from this npc, I did manages to kill him when I invade him, however I tried to see if he would invade me but sadly I think the quest got glich on me because I can't get him to get invade by him, I try to see if maybe i get invaded by him by going to the spot where he suppose to invade me at first but no luck :c

How do you get to that Western side of the snow area?
If you use the medallion to skip the snow area and do this can you go back and still get Invaded in the snow area to get the armor set from those invaders?
I killed two invaders in the bloody area and didnt know about this mask. Went to the Varre invade killed him got his weapon then went back to the bloody water area and i got invaded again and got the white mask
I have already killed the Mohg boss too so you can still get it

question: i'm having absolutely NO luck with invading anyone, regardless of where i am on the map, or what time of the real world day is. can this quest be completed if you use the duelist furled finger and be called on? or does it have to be the festering bloody finger? thanks in advance :)
Win/lose it doesn't matter for the invasion just as long you do three. Additionally, you have to use the festering bloody fingers that Varré gives you
Yeah I'm having the same problem. Never manage to invade anyone, no matter where I am. I am level 114 and at the Godskin duo, i manage to help a bunch but never invade. I feel like i am underleveled or overleveled. I have no idea.
I found that I get invasions mostly at the first step grace
@@phantomdaze2599 after have no luck with invading OR co-oping, i did some research over the last couple hours, and apparently there's a glitch that can happen that can somehow lock you out of multiplayer. i can see bloodstains, messages, and phantoms, but i am completely unable to co-op or invade. nothing i've tried has fixed this :( not sure if anyone else here has this same issue, but this is a big disappointment. all i can try now is uninstall my game, and delete my save file (i have it backed up, just in case). hope FromSoft finds a fix for this soon.
Try goin to the first step grace at the very beginning, I usually get to invade pretty much instantly. Otherwise it might be your internet connection.
I already defeated Godrick and Radhan, but he’s still at the first step. what do I do?
Edit: I figured it out, all I had to do was go and talk to the old lady at the 2 fingers, it didn’t work the first time. When i first tried it, it just showed “…”
You gotta go to the round table and a new door in the main room you spawn in has opened and go in there talk to the old lady and talk then go to the rose church

You can use the seal varre gives you in that area of north right next to the grace and it’ll teleport you to the palace. I also didn’t get any invaders? I’m wondering if it’s because I didn’t go all the way up north like you did and only stopped at the grace and used the seal varre gave me.
now ive managed to continue on but both spawns dont spawn because ive killed mohg bevor killing him in the invasion?
I don't believe it's possible to obtain the armor if you beat Mohgwyn beforehand. Be wary.

Should mention what bosses you need to kill to enter the portal would help a lot
What other invader are you talking about? In the consecrated snowfield I've only ever found one invader... ive never found a second one but found the portal.
Hey, once Varre gives you the pureblood Knight Metal, you can use it to take you directly to Mohgs Palace

You don't have to do his questline in order to get the armor set. You can go straight and kill those two invaders in the red swamp can get the armor.

Are we supposed to kill Varre? Is there an alt ending to this quest if we don't? His dialogue when you invade him sounds like he feels betrayed or something like that.

I figured out how to do it, there’s a portal in the snowy area that spawns you right at the farm

You missed out on a lot of great stuff, including the cool invasion of Varre's world.
I know if you aggro npcs you can go to the church of vows in liurnia to use a celestial dew to un aggro npcs you attacked. I usually don't do that so I don't have experience with absolution stuff but I did see comments saying you could revive dead npcs the same way as well. But haven't confirmed that myself .

I think if you go to the church of grace in Liurunia(with the huge turtle dude) you can "attone" pretty sure this is what fixes it

Game was new this info was unknown until after he posted the video. Be thankful people like him are here to help people like you who can't figure it out on your own.

@@griminc6548 The same thing could be said for him not telling us to not to kill the boss.. the elevator to the boss and that hallway are next to each other it’s not that unrealistic to kill the boss before seeing a small red sign on the floor.
@@griminc6548 I try not to watch more than what I’m ready to see exploration wise for spoiler reasons meaning dialogue and such.. I really just want to see the location of said npc to continue the story.. so if like me where you explore by yourself and try to find everything the boss is the next thing after coming out of the cave and again the little red sign (as well as any other sign) is the last thing I look at.
The only problem is, I can't find anyone to invade by matchmaking lol.
go to difficult world boss locations ones that do not have a boss health bar. There you will find the little timmys who need friends to help them and get more/faster invades.

@@kevinuribe318 was getting a lot at the capital where the big tree dude drops. Lake of rot area wasn't doing to bad either. Also any of the more difficult areas where people might require help from a friend.
Raya Lucaria Academy is probably another most active place, I mean Varre is in around the the area so might as well try the Academy first, specifically around RL50-60, at least until ng+ players start populating the game

Yeah unfortunately I did, if you kill the boss first you can’t get the mask/armor unless your on a new play through or some drops one for you.

Just so you guys know, you have to fight three nameless white mask invaders, not two.
Where is the third one
@@spook3112 so one is when you enter the swamp from the main entrance, the second around the area the golden seed under that tree on that rock with the two dogs to the left of the entrance, the third is behind the tree to the far back left that's in the video I believe.
I'm pretty sure it's three because the armor didn't drop for me till I killed all three. It confused me quite a bit. At first, I thought it was a glitch, so I went and made a Reddit post, two other Redditors mentioned there were three of them and after I killed the last third one the armor did drop for me.

probably not. So this quest may be impossible in cracked versions of elden ring, thus withholding content from people who pirate the game

I beat Mohg and invaded Varre, but I did not go to the swamp yet. It seems that using the talisman is fine since it just skips the main game travel.
No. I used it and did the invasion against him and then let him invade me twice and i got the set.

@@matthewprzywara545 yea you get it after you invade him. After he invades you twice you get the set, using that medal doesn’t matter.

its all offline, none of the npc invasions or summons require online to work

@@tolpiteeyeq5832 yes but in order to get his items, he needs to invade you at the locations shown, i have the invasion option for him but he wont come to me so icant get the armor :(
@@tolpiteeyeq5832 yep should really explore an area first before clearing boss for reasons like this, was in need of moghs 500k+ runes to level up so i ran straight for him. But oh well that's why there's ng+

fyi you dont need online to get to the farm thats only for the quest you just need to be at late game in firre giants area
