Spyro Reignited Trilogy is an upcoming platform video game developed by Toys for Bob and published by Activision. It is a collection of remasters of the first three games in the Spyro series: Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! and Spyro: Year of the Dragon. The game is scheduled for release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 13, 2018.

I'm so glad it; faithful to the original. The remaster is great
Anecdote: When I had aPS1 and 2, one my first game was this one, Spyro 2. We played it a lot with my sister, thing is that back then (we were very young) we didn'tt know the use of the memory card, we didn't even know what was the point of using it actually... So whenever we wanted to use a PS1 game, we had to restart it all over again from the very beginning, to the point that we knew every details of every first levels of the game at 100%.
You see in this game you evolve in different world based on a season (spring, winter, autum and summer etc) and each worlds give you access to new level. We restarted the whole game to the point that we knew everything about what to do until the winter world (second or third I think) to this day we still haven't finished this game because our PS1 and 2 both died and PS4 can't run games from previous consoles... So... I think I'm gonna buy this reignited trilogy to finally see the end of this game.

@@PrimoGabe In the end, we even made plans to complete the game the fastest way possible before turning off the console just to restart everything the next time.
Something like: Okay so if we do this world first, we'll have enough gems to buy the swimming underwater ability so we can complete the next one directly because there's a hidden underwater part of the level that we need to do...
Etc...etc...etc...
So much memories and nostalgia.
I played this game over and over again.
The highlights were always the three bosses
My brothers and I used to stay up all night during the summer playing this, Jet Moto, Twisted Metal, Tripple Play 2000, Cool Boarders and of course Tony Hawk.
Ripto's Rage is the first thing I'll play once I get the trilogy. First Spyro game I ever played. 💜
I miss how goofy hunter used to look and sound in the original game.

I think the game was telling me enough is enough. I tried a bunch of times to make that jump, had to cut it out from the video.

Not finding eggs or chasing thieves makes no sense for riptos rage. That's the only thing that bothers me.

I love *2's* visual & gameplay overhaul as a whole but prefer the monks' original chanting. The sound had an almost otherworldly tone that added to its charm, this new chant comes off pretty "meh". 🤷
