- Today I'm reviewing the Weedo Tina 2S 3D Printer. It is quite a capable little machine.

I've had the TINA2 basic for a week. It's great and it's my first introduction to 3D printing. Regarding octoprint, I installed octopi OS on a spare raspberry pi, and initially I couldn't get it to connect, until someone pointed out that the USB port uses a custom baud rate of 1000000. I had nearly given up, but you click "serial connection" in the octoprint UI and enter 1000000 in the "custom baud rate" field and save. Then select this as the printer baud rate and bingo it connected!
On non-adjustable beds a piece of tape here or there under the removable surface can often get you the incremental corner or center adjustments needed. Then just add a Z offset to your starter Gcode in Cura, on one of my printers it is 1.5mm and on another it is 3mm... auto leveling was a marketing ploy! It's why I still prefer the Malyan M200 or MP Select Mini over other school-safe printers.
Would you recommend this for making mini figurs for board games or mini football helmets
Works with Cura as well as their own slicer which is good, because Cura is pretty much the standard for many people.
I like it a lot, it's my first 3D printer but this seems simple enough. I've been learning FreeCAD and working on my own practical prints, lots of fun!
As for using 1Kg spools, I've been using my dry box which has bearings and I just sit it next to the printer and do it that way.
how do you get it too show up on cure
@@Statikleoscamming install the latest version and the Weefun printers are listed.
Hey, i have the same machine and id like to try out the tower, i wonder what settings you used, did you change something up in wiibuilder besides temps?
Do you know how to fix the fan? I recently broke my fan accidentally by touching it. I got replacement, but it still didn’t work. Both fans probably work, but it just doesn’t spin
For $199.99 you can get Bambu Lab a1 mini… same price, comparable size and 100 times faster and 1000 times better print quality… 🤷🏼
havn't used if for a couple months as the Auto level probe failed, They sent a new one, it doesn't work either, no way to manual level with if as far as I can tell.
How hot does this get? Can it print on my desktop while I'm working?
$200 is a bit much, I got mine on sale for $160, it was on sale for $150 during prime days, its back up though
I got one as a Christmas present and there is filament stuck in the nozzle. I've tried most of the suggested methods to get the filament out but am a little leery to take it apart. Any chance for a video on how to take it apart to change the nozzle?
any updates
@@JJ-vp3bdWe got one today. It comes with all the tools you need and a replacement nozzle.
$200 is a little spendy, More I think in the $150 range but could see giving this to the little people of the family to play with and not worry. Good review.
