I used to be a user of tina2 and the most frustrating aspect of it was the location of the control board. It was attached to the inner side of the top cover, making it difficult to maintain the printer. I had to push and pull the main frame several times to unlock the fixture between the top cover and main frame. Before flipping the top cover, I had to pop out the liner rod because it usually came along with the socket of the top cover, and disconnect connected pins because the wiring length was too short to flip the control board (with cover). Additionally, the flipped down control board had a disadvantage in terms of heat distribution as the heat always went to the upper side, but it was blocked. Although the flipped, hidden board might look pretty and seamless, it was really frustrating when I wanted to upgrade or maintain the control board. I recommend to the tina2 developers to flip the board back.
Great review of this printer! I enjoyed learning about it and am now convinced to buy this one. For now I only want to make keychains and earrings. Not sure if I want to venture into anything bigger. I was looking for PLA filament and came across a good deal for PETG filament. So I started looking for advice if it could be used. I did learn that PETG needs a heated bed, and ended up here with your video. Since you've had this printer for a month now, have you tried PETG in it? I'd love to take advantage of the deal I found on Amazon but would love your advice first. Thanks.
I'm ready to ask this dumb question, but for the sake of asking - If someone purchased this for their kid, but wanted to add part cooling fans, a higher temp bed/psu, metal extruder, and full metal hot end setup, do you think this is plausible for this printer?
Love your video here.. Stupid Question... Im Literally VERY New to all of this.. Can I make my own designs, and then print them to spec? Or must I find, download, and then convert to this printers format (.gcode format, Pls correct me if Im wrong here | Can I print other formats other than .gcode?) then save to memory card, then load, find and then print? I know its been a while but I hope you see this... Id be Greatly Appreciative of your reply and gestures regarding my questions.. Thanks - SWFLa

Will the printer stop if it runs out of filament
So overall what do you think of the printer itself, worth it for a beginner or not? I mean if they are on a budget and don’t need big prints?
Can I put more filament even know it has a little bit in the white tube will it still push it?
I bought a spool holder for the overture
I see that it comes with an SD card. Can you load other files on that besides what they recommend.
Yes

I should say, that while it might not natively support the active cooling fans, soldering is not an issue.
