@@trax9987 There's a chance Lowko knows, as it's a meme to intentionally say sudoku instead. Think it came about because of somebody that genuinely confused the two. Kind of like "how the turntables".

For anyone wondering (like I was for YEARS). The name of the guy that selects the replays for Lowko is not Modlyssus, Motlises or anything like that. It's "Motlycys". Thank you Motlycys for your hard work and you should demand that Lowko put your name in the descriptions of the videos.
9:55 I like how lowko discovers mini details during viewer submitted games where there's not a lot going
Banshees have only teeth decals while the Goliaths in the campaign can either be plain, have teeth too, or have a little Confederacy flag painted on them. I always loved these little details on the units in Starscraft. Wish Vikings had something like that too.
Still cant get over the fact that the SC1 confederacy actually had the legitimate US civil war confederate flag. Like w o t.

Off topic, Lowko cursed the mutation in the last co-op mission. Ctg said that it would be polarity, so we all have lowko to thank for this horrible mutation.

I always watch the viewer submitted games, not because it's entertaining but whether to see if a replay I'm in is in it lol
That badass remaining marine from the blue barracks in the last game... what a badass, walking away from an explosion without looking back... xD
A note on the offensive gg: if those first two really are MOBA players, the offensive gg is much more common and not seen as rude in that community, so long as it is not called a long time before the end of the match (e.g. you have a really good fight and get a big advantage, to type gg after that when you are not hitting their nexus would be kinda rude.

Yeah. It's just player sees that the game is nearing the end and says "good game" meaning just that - that he has fun playing it, both players did well and he wants to share that feeling. It seems rather common in lower leagues and in other games. No offense at all.
This wouldn't even be a thing if some people hadn't started using "gg" as a game end greeting. It used to mean good game, literally. No ending implied. Then some weirdos hijacked the word.
It is still rude and bm moba players are just very mean
Now if someone says "gg ez" though. Them be fighting words.

I never played Starcraft 2. I played Starcraft Brood War for a decade when i was a kid, though. Found Lowko's channel and immediately fell in love with him. So, i just downloaded the game and tried it out. HOLY SHIT it's hard and chaotic. Can't even follow the simplest of building orders without messing up entirely and with passive AI. It will take me a good amount of time to rise to the level of the "viewer games" skill that we all laugh at... Not gonna laugh at viewer games anymore...
Viewer games are my favorite. Could we get a playlist with all the viewer games? I've watched a lot of the old ones but they dont all have 'viewer' in the title so i probably missed some.

The last game, seeing the barracks in the enemy base, producing marines that then walk all the way home. I'm laughing so hard.

I think I would actually watch more of that since, I love lowkos normal style, but I usually don't have a ton of free time and I usually spend 2-3 days on one typical lowko video.
I watch his videos for the tiny golden moments in all of them (there were a lot in this one), it would be nice if he could just have a ton of those in one shorter video. Kinda like his streem highlights.
He obviously saw ur comment, hopefully he acts on it. lol

This remind me of 2011 starcraft 2, where we had 3 base at 16 minutes. In 2021 at 16 mins the map is almost mined out.
That second game took years off my life.

It's a meme. Use Sudoku anytime you want to say Seppuku. Use Suicune (the Pokemon) anytime you want to say Suicide.
The shark tooth motif on the Banshees is a reference to the shark tooth motif painted onto the American Volunteer Group of the Republic of China air force during World War II, a.k.a. the "Flying Tigers". The motif is also present on American A-10 Warthog ground attack planes.
As someone that doesnt play SC2, but might describe myself as a casual sc2 enjoyer.
I laughed a lot.
That puts this pretty high on the list of top sc2 replays.
This always amazes me as another person in silver. I know my problem is I go mining crazy so I regularly die 3k banked as I spent the last 2 minutes frantically morphing into whatever
...but this is comedy gold and shows how wide silver league really is
watching these games makes me wanna go back to playing the ole ladder
So what i am hearing here is that by watching enough low-level games, you can achieve semi-immortality and the ability to see the future? a small price to pay I would say

I love watching bronze and silver games. They're not reinventing the wheel as they play, they're DISCOVERING that wheels are even a thing as they play. Tactics and strategies that would never work in high skill games work amazingly well in lower skill games.
I don't know why but that third game was really funny to watch
The Banshee teeth are likely a nod to the noseart on the A10 Warthog, as that is also an air to ground attack aircraft.
Last game had to be a troll.
"banshees have teeth?" Yep. If I remember correctly it's a reference to the world war II fighter pilots who would paint shark teeth on their airplanes to intimidate their opponents. The idea being you should always avoid a shark.

Oh my gods, Lowko, I've never played this game and I could play better than these guys.
Man, watching these games somehow oddly make me wish I was that new to the game again, definitely the most fun games when you don't know what you're doing.

3:55 - no Lowko, clearly until you put bad ideas into Opponent's head he was going to use Nydus worm to send his marines into the enemy base. I don't even play and I can figure THAT out.

Carrying around enough flensjes to make change is a bit of hassle, but worth it to preserve our glorious pancake based economy.
viewer games always make me want to play just so I can feel better after watching them...
Almost all the silver league games are Terran with a little bit of Protoss thrown in and once in awhile the rare sprinkle of Zerg.
war helicopters often had teeth/mouth painted on them.

The second game... it's like watching Hatfields and McCoys, and you're in the Pentagon ready for a drone strike. Holy crap that was great.

The thing is Lowko about reinventing the wheel as i see it, personally i love playing vs AI in RTS games because i can turtle and play my own stupid strategies and tactics. I fully know that it wont work in PvP and thats why i never play PvP in RTS games, so i assume those people just wanna do what they want but dont care if they win or lose too much.
The shark teeth paint started in WW2... I think the tigers.. but has continued on for a while with the u.s.

I have never really played SC2 but I love watching streams. It feels a very micro-intensive and balanced game. Yet I still wonder somthing :
Isn't the fact that the tech lab or reactor always on the same side of the buildings make terrans a bit more sensible to some map orientations ?
As all maps are supposed to be symetrical, it feels like they are the only one that might be penalized when the start on one side more than on the other.
A little, but in the grand scheme of things it doesn't really matter. You just need to learn the correct placement of the Barracks on each side of the map.
The teeth are whats called nose art. this design is called a shark mouth, it was done on US planes in WWII.

Shark teeth paint is quite common among combat aircraft especially WW2 fighter planes, nowadays it's not as common anymore.
The highlight of this video is Lowko finding out Banshees have sharkteeth painted onto them.
The good games are painfully entertaining but the poor bastard that has to sell his soul to sift through the bad ones... Poor sucker.

At 5:42 it was a pretty accurate reenactment of WWI.
I have a TvT game whereas my opponent oppened up a planetary fortress in the main base and at the natural expansion with loads of missile turrets.

Lowko, as a Silver player myself, I can tell you that we don't play standard builds because we don't want to look up "the answers" online, just like you don't want to min max your Mass Effect playthrough.
For us, Starcraft is just a fun game and we try our best with our limited APM...

Opponent just needed to build a couple of turrets, and not lose half his base from 3 banshee's
Upvote this if you want lowko to do all units and structures close look-ups to see all the small things blizzard did years ago and they were never noticed. AND THEY DESERVE IT.
