    I always knew those throttle cable cams were elliptical which is how the opening is tuned to deliver a certain amount of air at any one time. Never took the time to look up close to see how it really correlates to throttle opening. Nice video!

    GM used to have decent engineers. Now they can’t keep a 5.3 together for more than 40k without wiping out the cam. I think part of it is bean counters cost reducing everything, too.
    The software guys are really shitting the bed. The Blazer EV has been a disaster. It’s making everyone who works for them, myself included, look like fools. Tesla hires the best software engineers in the world while we’ve got guys who used to design CD players and Stabilitrac trying to keep up.

      Well they keep having to add extra things to the engine to keep up with emissions. It has to be tricky to get a pushrod V8 to pass modern standards
