In most states it’s actually legal for a 22yo to be with a 17yo. Back when I was a teenager living in DE, at 16 years old it’s legal to date someone up to 10 years older than you as long as they’re not in a position of authority. Idk if that’s still the law but it was only about 9 years ago I learned of that so I doubt it’s changed.
15/16 is legal in most states (romeo and juliette laws) and the states that they are not, the 15 year old also commited a crime because the 16 year old was also underage (if the girl on stage is 16 but this happened when they she was 15, then that other girl was 16 at the time and litearlly one year older than her)

I would not trust anyone to babysit any child of mine when I become a father. Male or female. If I have to be a stay-at-home father and do work remote to ensure my kids are safe, I'll do that. Yup. I came from a family like this. Ended up marrying the full grown man who was almost a decade older than me that I had been groomed by since I was in 8th grade. Moved into an apartment with him at 16. Married at 18. Pregnant with my first 6 months later, miscarried, got pregnant again when I was 19. He left me when I was six months pregnant. My daughter is almost 10. He’s never seen her. Been married to a wonderful man and had a son. Cut off all of my family and pulled the roots out. I pray she’s able to heal one day.
I didn’t need babysitters when I was in teenage years because i was fine being home alone because I was almost becoming an adult! Also, this is what happen when parents are not there when a babysitter is grooming a child and molesting a child behind close doors! It happened to me at age 15 when the father of my two younger brothers molested me and made me watch porn with him in my room and I kept that secret for 10 years until I told my mom about it and after that, we never see him again forever! Luckily, my brothers are not affected by him. I’m now 34 and still going strong!
