    Wow Chef. I've never seen prices like that before. I think I'll stick with the basic Chinese soups. Tomorrow there will be a Chinese dish but recipe to be determined later today but do know it will contain broccoli. On Monday, it's Thanksgiving in Canada and would like to thank you for sharing your recipe ideas which makes Chinese cooking so much fun at home.

    • @HAPPYWOK

      Yes, let us stick to basic chinese cooking soup. I only did this one to educate our viewers. Happy Canadian Thanksgiving day to you. Ours in the USA, next month.

    Looks easy but it took forever for the bird nest to get soft. Anyway that bird nest is so clean already

    • @HAPPYWOK
      @HAPPYWOK  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, we gently softened it slowly, since it is a costly ingredient. I bought a good grade bird nest product, so it was about 98% cleaned already. Thanks for watching.

    I've had it, the bird nests themselves have no flavour and are basically phlegm or mucus coughed up by a type of swallow.
    And when I had it was about $200 a bowl.
