It really is a mix between these things, different for each woman specifically. Part of it is because they were glad they didn’t have to work like men, but American capitalism needed a boost after the depression and while they were entering ww2, so women were being hired and more people supplied the work force, but they put the label of equality in front of it and now it’s engrained into people’s idea of labor that women should be a part of it

I would say that happens more with men than with women. I don't look at many real women (the ones outside of TikTok) are complaining or bitter, they are all concerned about Taylor Swift's tours and happy in general. Men on the other hand have reached a point of massive depression in the last few years, loneliness and anxiety.
That is not just cus of men. There are so many other reasons for that. Society in general, both men and women, have more mental health issues than they did in the past. This is not an issue that just affects women.

Amazing how modern people don’t realize how much they still rely on hard work men. I’m a machinist and without guys like me literally everything stops. Most industries have Atleast on thing that heads to be machined.

My mom was born in the 40s. She ran away from home when she was 16 and traveled across the country. She got jobs that paid well and raised me by herself. She was always the mom that would flip the washer machine over and change parts herself instead of "waiting for a man to do it". Some women were like her.....but most weren't./shrugs

I agree with the old woman and the first one. In my religion (Islam), women normally stay in the house. The husband pays for things and does the work while the wife feeds the kids and makes dinner for the husband.
My grandmother hated my grandfather. He was the worst thing that happened to her (he lived long enough for me to witness it first hand) . She lost fonction of one of her hands because of him. she was forced to provide basic necessities for her 14 children and denied contraception healthcare and education . She had no other option but to stay with him for her children's sake. I remember the year 2001 like it was yesterday, it was my first year in primary school also the first year my grandmother learned how to write her own name.
My mother who was top of the country in her SATs wasn't allowed to go to University by her father until her older brother interfered.
Saying that women in the past did not "hate" men is not exactly correct.

According to my aunt it’s about Respect and I’d add social media. Women back then respected their man. Women today’s age get instant gratification on social media and feminism it ruined society. I grew up during this era last 15 years and it was terrible. My ancestors didn’t deal with half the crap that we dealt with yet enjoyed life better and possibly way better. And yes men and women were considerably happier. Now modern day women are trying to dictate the rules and yet they still aren’t happy.
