The algorithm would disagree, lol 😂 - our channel has been really on a downtrend the last few months. It’s hard to keep going sometime, but the fact that we get such lovely comments is legitimately why we keep at it.
Lovely video! Those mugs looked great. I'd love to one day see some of these German Christmas markets. Too bad the flight prices around Christmas, from Canada to almost anywhere in Europe, are basically prohibitively high.
This looks fabulous! You reminded me that I always wanted to go to the Weihnachtsdorf at Vogtsbauernhof in the Black Forest. Of course, it was this weekend. Somethimg to specifically plan for next year, maybe, if I am not too busy selling at markets up here. That´s the downside of having a stall. I don´t get to visit special markets anymore :( I think you might also enjoy the Biedermeier market in Werben. They banned electricity to be more authentically historical.
@@NearFromHome It´s super interesting! I also learned very quickly where my stuff sells and where it doesn´t. I don´t think I will sell at non-entry fee, non-historical markets again. It would be cool to see your perspective to more markets in the east. Don´t forget about the steam train to Görlitz! :))
The Markus Wasneier Museum is great, I especially love the bread they bake and the surrounding scenary is just amazing, isn"÷ it. I have never been to the Christmas Market there, but it looks so good that next year it will be on my list of places to go and see. it is so great to see you being in your Element and doing what you love doing. As nice as the Markus Wasneier Museum is though, it is not my favourite Freilichtmuseum, as it is a little too small, I think. IN the area of Munich my favourite Freilichtmuseum is the Glentleiten Museum close to the village of Kochel. Have you ever been? It is perched on a slope of a hill and you get the most amazing views of the Kochelsee and Kloster Schlehdorf. They have several villages there, an area with several watermills and even a petrol station from the 50s. Absolutely amazing. I am looking forward ro your next video. Have a wonderful Christmas. Until then
Love the bread! We have been to Kochel am See many times, but didn't know they have a living history museum. I guess that's because it's on the other side of the lake. We will try to check it out, but it looks like we might need to rent a car!
Yes! It's very cool! That's why there's so much skiing equipment in the lobby. It's so cool that he chose to make this museum after his Olympic career!
@@NearFromHome I find him totally likeable, close to home and so down-to-earth, I'd like to hang out with him and have a few beers, he has a lot to tell.
@@NearFromHome well son when you grew up in a home with dang avocado green stove and fridge, you get scarred for life!! and don't get me started on the orange popular at the time, you can't unsee that stuff, lol. :)
We absolutely miss Germany, and this video isn't helping. I'd like to transport you there right now. Oh! I forgot to mention that I have a marketing strategy for you. You NEED to sell T-shirts. You know what they need to say right? "I'm on a DAMN good walk." or something like that. Of course, they need to be understated and vintage cool European-looking. One color only (maybe Camille's favorite 1960 green, so that fellow followers can spot one another. I can't tell you how many times my husband and I looked at one another and said "damn good walk".
This channel should have a million followers at the very least.
:D Thank you so much!
Couldn't agree more.
I know! I keep watching them growing slowly but I’m so surprised it hasn’t been faster.
100% agree with you!
Danke ! Great video , and greetings from Pennsylvania.

Loved seeing the historic Christmas market! Your videos this year have been so cool with all the unique, historic markets here in Germany!
Thanks so much! They between these living history markets and the medieval markets, these are our favourites!

I think there is a bus to Großweil and then a 2 km walk at the end, but the museum os really worth it.@@NearFromHome
Markus Wasmeier 2-time gold medal winner (Super G and giant slalom) in 94 Lillehammer, sensational.

Any stollen? 😋
Yes! They make it by hand in the restaurant, but we didn't have time to get some. :/
Love the older kitchen, the avocado green, please don't!! :)
the public has no taste!!!!

Museum opened this (off) season is pretty rare
yes! We are very lucky!
The "Markus Wasmeier Freilichtmuseum" is a is located in **SCHLIERSEE** Not in "Fischausen"!
(Was there twice, for half a day.)
It’s definitely at the Fischhausen-Neuhaus stop?
(Was there last week and made a whole video about it)
