Joel, I live in Montana, USA. But I have heard the Canadian National Anthem from time to time throughout my life and I love how the music and lyrics make me feel. So I just had to say something when I heard this version with all the verses.
Also, I voted for President Trump and I approve of what he is doing. Be aware that there is a difference between what Trumps agenda and actions are vs. what the press wants you to believe. If you judge what is happening by what the newspapers say you may not have a very accurate picture. It's been that way for decades.
Remains to be seen if this creates a world war---I certainly hope not. Obama has been raining cruise missiles on various targets for years ( I didn't agree with that either) but it did not precipitate a world war. Trump has a loooooong way to go to catch up to Obama in cruise missile launches. I hope Trump stays with his campaign promise of "America First" and to stay out of meddling with things all over the planet.

@@frostdash-aviationI can’t tell if this is sarcasm but I’m also a dual citizen with both haha. Canada recognizes dual citizens where America doesn’t. So if you were born in America and applied for Canadian citizenship through relatives (like I did), you get both technically. But you can’t do it the other way around sadly. America makes you revoke whatever citizenship you had before to get an American one if I remember correctly. I could be completely wrong about that tho. I just know what I did to get my citizenship.

Thank you to the group that posted this. I'm 50yrs old and we use to have to sing the national anthem and say the Lord's Prayer every morning before we started school. I have never heard this version! It's beautiful. This generation today can't even sing 2 verses, it's so sad. God Bless Canada may the King of Kings and Lord of Lord's watch over and preserve us! Pray for Canada!

David Lewis where did this thing this and a lot of events especially hockey events keep in mind I am Canadian and I still live in Toronto today because I'm only 16 and I still love my parents and I'm a sophomore in high school but anyway we seen as national anthem a lot in my class every day on one announcements well at stand up and he played the song over the loudspeaker we had to sign it

This is one of if not the best arrangements in sound, scenes, and lyrics of our national anthem! The fourth verse will surprise many since we have reduced the anthem down to just the first verse and never get to hear it the others. It is evident to me that God has blessed this nation beyond any on Earth and I don't think my feelings are just from nationalistic pride. The beauty of nature, the prosperity we enjoy because of our natural resources, the large mass of unsettled and pristine land that we occupy, not to mention the democratic freedoms we all enjoy, allow Canadians unlimited opportunities to grow families, develop their talents and abilities, and participate in sharing with those less fortunate in our world.
Though we have all this and hopefully appreciate it, do we ever take an honest look at the loss of moral values that used to anchor us to what was most meaningful in life? People argue that climate change, our economic status, or our ability to survive the Covid-19 virus are among our primary concerns in this nation. Though these challenges are real, it is the moral divide occuring in Canada that will ultimately bring an end to this country as we knew it.
Moral divisions are like seismic faultlines in that they form a gap between people that sometimes results in an unwillingness to search for solutions to our differences, and in some cases to turn against one another to the point of justifying violent acts of protest. This is understandable if we believe that morality is self-prescribed, that moral truth can be determined individually or by those we elect to govern us. But this is called moral relativism and it is abundantly evident that it doesn't work. People cannot pick and choose what they believe is morally right or wrong and still hope for a nation that is united and at peace with itself. I challenge anyone to prove that it can be done.
Despite the common resistance to the view that a transcendent set of moral values is the only possible means by which we can see our way through the plethora of moral issues we are facing today, it remains the only hope for our survival. The Issue of how to address the physical and emotional needs of a pregnant woman who feels she is not prepared to have a child so she has a wiser and more compassionate alternative than that of abortion, is one moral crisis that as Canadians we need to rethink carefully. A second crisis involving the desire of gay rights advocates to extend this group's view of gender identity by choice and not anatomy, by educating the young and most innocent among us, is one issue that demands the silent majority engage in the conversation to express their pain in witnessing their children's increasing doubt and confusion over who they are as human beings. A more recent crisis is one that flew low on the radar for most Canadians because of the quiet but expedient way our federal government managed it. This was the threat to seniors of having no opportunity to rescind an earlier decision to select a doctor-assisted suicide as a means to end their suffering. Instead of a full review of the law governing this procedure, our government added to the legislation and feigned an attempt to consult with Canadians by asking them to respond to an online questionaire which did not allow the respondent to actually express their values.
As Canadians, we are at the crossroads of deciding which direction our country is headed. We cannot hope things will get better when the moral foundations are being destroyed. Politics plays a role in this direction, of course, but leaders today govern more through polling than by actually setting the agenda for what is good for us all. If we want to preserve the moral values this nation once abided by, then our role as citizens of this great nation is to turn away from the moral precipice, make peace with God through Jesus Christ, and pray this country will discover the solutions to these crises are found in the Bible. Toss it any further aside than we have and we will soon lose everything.

Hi Larry---I agree with you 100% in everything you say. I believe that the absolute moral values and the striving to master and embody virtues, are the material upon which all peace, prosperity, safety, growth and unity are based upon.
I am one of the singers in this particular recording of O Canada which you commented on. I can tell you that all the people who sang in this recording feel the same as you about these issues. And we strove to make this apparent in our voices and in the feelings that listeners would experience when they stumbled upon this "all 4 verses" version of this very lovely and uplifting song.
You might be surprised to hear this--I'm just south of you, in Montana. But I have lots of friends and some family in Canada and when we get together we sometimes sing O Canada. When I visit Canada I don't feel at all as though I'm in a foreign country.
Keep on. I think God has decided to save this planet. But we should keep up our faith and our prayers.

This is way more than moral relativism.
You have more than one humanity living on this planet and people from Eastern world are quite different in many ways and they will not tell you. There's a description of them in the book of Isaiah and how they do not believe in God. They believe in their own strength and will say that "fair is foul and foul is fair". They want multiculturalism so that as they think Christians will not survive at all. They don't want Christians in this planet for reasons they will not mention.
There's no moral to them. They are pre moral. But they will use their supposed " moral values" to accuse you and kill you.
You are not quite dealing with humans and they are not from another planet. There are TV series about it like "The Invaders" from the 1960's. Also movies. The American people did not notice. They did. Many were killed and many committed suicide. And some are in prison for no reason.
It's a Desolation scenario. "Desolation Row" is a song by Bob Dylan in the 1960's. " The super human crew who goes after anyone who knows more than they do" is in another song by Dylan. " Heart attack machine and electric violin" are equipment people don't know of their existence, some kind of radio. "Radio gu gu radio ga ga" is in a song by the group queen. People could write songs and they did.
I love how they praise God in their anthem and how soothing and yet stately and patriotic it sounds. Gave me chills listening to this and I am Cameroonian. Great anthem!
