@@bellhoppersaws I wish i could send you the pictures of the custom work ive done. I keep um simple heart shape intake and a little “quick timing” on the piston. Its a hyway pop up that ive windowed myself. I have the caber rings base gasket delete. You know the song and dance…. I need to figure out how to drill mains i think
Is that a Swedish saw or Brazilian? I was about to snap one of them up and happened to look at the serial tag and it said it was made in Brazil. Think I’ll just hold out for a 592.
Awesome cool that saw is snappy for sure I have question how you how much to take out did measure it before hand or have you done it so long you know? And I see you always adjusting on the cabs all time for summer to winter is helpful on stock saws because I have never done this before I just set it and run it like that this how I was shown I know I have lot learn, but I do know on the ole Mac the screws vibrate loose so we were always adjusting on them thanks again for you knowledge and sharing it with us
I'm looking to run a pop up piston with a gasket delete, muffler mod and just clean the ports up on a 395xp. Think a delete and pop up will work together? I don't have the saw yet just ordered it so I don't know the squish yet.
@@bellhoppersaws you having to drill out the jetting on the x-torq carb...I'm out about 2-2 1/2 turns low and high is where it likes to run and have used about a can of brake cleaner looking for leak and haven't found anything all new build chank, bearings, seals, pop up and cylinder...these are about same settings as the x-torq ran at
A 395 is a powerhouse in stock form. A little bit will change everything a lot. Great work Hopper.

There was a 395 locally on Craigslist for $700 but idk if that’s fair or how to tell if it’s a knock off
