  • My friend, Andy, takes us on a hike to the Walls of Jericho located on the Tennessee and Alabama border. This is about a 7 mile round trip hike to a limestone bowl-shaped amphitheater and a large waterfall.

I just watched your Indian Kitchen video. Andy and I went a few years ago and I guess we missed a turnoff to the actual Indian Kitchen. We ended down at the water and thought that was it.

I use to hike The Walls Of Jericho back in the 1970's and 80's. It was land that was owned for a hunt club. the road into it was shut down after people started using 3 and 4 wheelers to get to the falls. We use too camp there as well.

Did you see the grave yard on the way down the trail?

Not sure how up to date this info is but here's what I found - There are two primitive camping areas on the Walls of Jericho hiking trail. The first area is on the north end of the hiking parking lot and has room for six to eight tent sites. The second is located on Hurricane Creek next to Clark Cemetery and has room for eight tent sites.
