The Walls of Jericho is a spectacular waterfall hike in northern Alabama. I did a day hike, but this can be a full on backpacking trip. There are several backcountry sites if you wanted to make a weekend out of it. It's a 9 mile out and back trek, and be prepared for a tough final push out to the waterfalls. The terrain becomes very rocky and a little more difficult to navigate than the previous miles.

Jamie, what an awesome hike. This one is probably my #3, with the Fiery Gizzard being #1 and Virgin Falls being #2. I am really glad you did it after some good rain. It's an awesome hike with or without water but the water makes it so much better. And you're not kidding about the trekking poles. Wouldn't want to do it without them. I've done this one four times; twice solo and twice with friends, and I have never seen the last waterfall that dry when there was so much water everywhere else.
