I bought this mic and it’s plugged into my PC. However in my sound settings it doesn’t give me the option to select it for mic input, but it does give me the option to select it for output, even though it’s not a speaker. How do I fix this?
Hi! That is strange. I'm honestly not sure why your computer isn't recognizing the input. Have you tried rebooting your PC to see if that helps? I would personally reach out to Maono support on that one. Sorry!
sameee i got this mic for christmas and it worked perfectly fine then, but now my pc doesn't use my mic as an input. the light it turned on and it's visibly connected, but i'll go to my input settings and the option isn't there. the only thing i can think of is windows 11 had an update and no longer allows you to use a mic through a usb port. which is a bummer because the mic was really good when i used it. i even bought a usb to audio jack adapter, but the mic won't turn on when plugged in.

Do the settings stick if you switch to a mobile interface using the xlr input instead of the pc and the usb input

I believe Kurmi is right, the RGB lights only work with the USB cable.
