Bill , this place is stunningly beautiful ,the video footage that you have brought us , is invigorating . Just wait about 3 to 5 weeks go bk and stand in awe of the fall air & Vivid colors . Just a side note , my family & i took a trip out west in july and one of the places we visited was ' the rocky mountain national park' lol there was still snow on the mountain tops , the sights were breath taking . I say this metaphorically and literally , because of the altitude . Nevertheless if you & the mrs, get the chance - do it . Thanks for sharing the beauty that we are blessed to have here in America . Be still my ❤!!! Got lost in the Laurel Fork once. It was glorious! I used to wonder why more people didn't go to West Virginia because it's the most beautiful place I've ever been. Coming from a Smoky Mountain lady, that's saying something.

Amazing video, My friend and I went on an adventure to find the most middle of nowhere place we could and we found an old holler along a river in the mountains of WV with an abandoned house and shed, around the house we found dozens to hundreds of glass bottles (My guess is they were moonshiners, as this place was at least 100 years old) There were also very old shoes everywhere for some reason. We were limited as to how off road we could go though, because we were in a BMW sedan. This was the absolute middle of nowhere and I don't think that house had been touched in over 100 years.
We actually caught a piece of dolly sods, but I didn’t know it until later lol. We’re heading back to that entire region a lot this fall. Love it over there! It’s a different experience. Come on up! Bill
