    Oh god that reminds me of the time when I went to a restaurant in the US and the waiter basically left us alone the whole time, and my girlfriend didn't want to tip him a lot because he gave 'bad service'.
    He gave excellent service for a Dutch waiter...

    That sounds too familiar, had exactly that when i went to Wendy's... one time.. quickly returned to the small burgerbar ran by a rastaman, not only were his burgers a lot better, he also had this "if you need something, you know where to find me" attitude, i loved it, was just like home. hehehe

      Perhaps we filter those things out.. Perhaps our waiters say "Still it up your bum", but we hear "Everything satisfactory?" And when we say "Yeah, fine" the waiter hears "Go die in a fire, scum!".

    In the Netherlands we like privacy a lot, since to population density is higher. Also, we do like family and friends more than a waitress. But when we place our hands in the air, and look at a waitress, that means that we want to be served. That's how we dutch people usually roll. But don't get me wrong. In our country, a good waitress knows this. They do however sometimes ask you if you like anything more to drink, because that is policy to earn money (drinks are expensive, and are easy money for the owner of the restaurant).

    • @xJonnaax
      @xJonnaax 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Joannes Wyckmans yeah I’ve been a waitress. And I usually just skimmed my area and try to make eye contact with people. And when they did I knew they wanted something. Of course I also went to tables when the glasses were empty :D

    Its also annoying super super annoying.
    If i had a business meeting before i would tell waiters at 5 star restaurants to stay off the table unless we call.like my kids respect me more when im talking. The over serviced waiters are like interruptig your meeting n your thought formation in some cases, sales pitches and train of thougts 50 times in 1 hr.i felt
    Like i wanted to smack them.i never did. Dont smack people.ever.just feel n suppress woooosa.But its too much u cant badger clients.or customers like that.. N its very hard to reform the thoughts. Cos thoughts comes from feirry dust.
    But yeah 5 star over complicates showering sleeping n eating .
    My husband once panicked that they didnt change the sheet for 1 day.n i just snapped n now we live in dubai outside of 5 star hotel🤷‍♀️but its 50degress celcius outside 🤒🤮 sigh.theres just no way i can have cold n non psycho service except netherland.listen listen listen all of u spoilt brats who loves 5 star n over complicates sleeping showering n eating. If u dont change n if u dont get these 3 done fast out of the way...there is no effing way u can manage the big issues in life.thats y democrats neurotypical nancy pelosi that gets her hair done every morning in salon n gets her husband n PA to shop for her pant suit, will never get things done. Because she spends too much time researching on ice cream. My husband sit me down n tell me 'we have a problem'.i was confused i thought earthquake or smtg. N his answer ' we need to discuss lunch' 😱😱😱😱😱😳 i cant do this!!!!
    If u dont simplify shower eating n sleep. U r going nowhere. Forget other things.u r done. Just fancy shower,fancy clothes ,fancy food,fancy sleep. done. Thats your day.no more room for anythigelse.this cannot work for me.!!!! 🤒🤯
    N inefficient.people should not wase time on just sleep n eat n shower.no.
