Cool to see that you don’t look stressed out and manage to do everything
Could you do a mind map video like a step by step guide with a topic from a textbook?

Sweet vid. I am in my final year of law school at Monash, so pretty cool to see a fellow Monash student as part of the recommended feed!

    Hey Emil, Awesome Video!!!
Life as a med student looks amazing.
I'll be going into yr 12 next year and I'm kind of freaking out. I wanted to ask you how did you stay consistent in doing UCAT and ATAR study and getting rid of distractions. Also what kinds of habits did you have in yr 12, like I noticed you were doing meditation everyday in this video and I'm trying to get into it too.
    THANKS!!!!!

Thank you! I think such long term consistency comes from being aligned with your values. It will be really hard to keep working hard if you don't feel like what you're working on is meaningful. I think it's a good idea to reflect on what getting into medical school means to you, and keeping that reason in mind when you go about everyday. On top of that, using the strategies i mention on the channel will be helpful. In year 12 I kept the habit of waking up early pretty much throughout the year, but I'd recommend meditation too.

What are the pro and cons of studying at Monash would you recommend?

    • @EmilEddy

I've really loved my experience at Monash, I'd highly recommend it! Overall, the med school faculty is extremely supportive and listen to student concerns, and I have enjoyed the course. I think the cons might be the locations of some of the hospitals and the campus, depending on where you live

@ would the dorms be a good location for the hospital? One last question do you know any students who have come from New Zealand which would be happy to share there experiences?

@@lanamourad7521 Most people who come from interstate or internationally choose their accomodation close to their hospitals, but Monash Uni can be a good place to stay too! Not sure about anyone from New Zealand sorry :((
