I'm Jason, a full-time British Travel Vlogger and TH-camr who's been to 55 countries. I've been travelling around the world full-time since 2017. So far, my trips have taken me to Asia, Africa, Europe, the Middle East and the Americas.
I have travel series' from many of the world's best (and least) known destinations. I filmed the first vlogs on my channel in the summer of 2016 after spending a year living in China. A proper solo trip around Eastern Europe followed after graduating from University in the summer of 2017, taking me to Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, North Macedonia and Kosovo. This trip marked the start of my efforts to make a TH-cam full-time job.
After that European trip I went heavily into exploring Asia, visiting India, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Pakistan, the Philippines, South Korea and Kazakhstan (seeing me cover a lot of Far East and Southeast Asia in particular).
I have also travelled to North Africa and the Middle East fairly extensively over the last five years, filming videos in Turkey, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, Jordan, Israel and Palestine.
To date, I have not yet been to Australasia or South America. Though I am hoping to visit the latter sometime in 2022, along with a first stop in the Caribbean.
I've travelled to North America just once as a TH-camr, visiting Mexico in 2021. Though I have been to both the USA and Canada, this was as a child on family holidays.
So far in 2022, I've taken my first trip to Sub Saharan Africa, visiting both Kenya and Tanzania, before heading to the Middle East, stopping in Dubai and Lebanon. Europe followed, covering both the Greek and Turkish sides of Cyprus, and afterwards going back to Italy for the second time to cover Milan and Sicily. I'm now in the Caribbean for the first time, covering the Dominican Republic.

Agreed! Jason is so refreshing as a travel vlogger - no cliched music and no ego. A real example for others to follow.
Beaches in DR are not private. These is little game of some resort owners trying to keep the locals out! By law they can't do that. A lot of people in DR are upset with so many resort/hotel owners claiming their beach is private. We need to make the law stronger and enforce it so no one is turned away by these (mostly foreigner) owners. Also, Samana is an amazing part of the country historically, as it was a safe haven for many freed slaves from the southern states and when they came they brought with them not only their version of English, but many of their cusine as well (they were called cocolos) and also many others from smaller islands. there is a lot of history (rich, good and bad) in this small island of Hispanola.
Nobody is claiming the beach as private not 1 resort in DR, what is private is the land to acces it and there are always pathways to go to the beach in all the resorts here in Punta Cana where i currently live

Please go to Contanza, Jarabacoa, Puerto Plata, etc... This country is owesome. Unfortunately, most tourists only visit Punta Cana.

Hi Jason, I visited the Dominican Republic back in January for winter, you need to visit Bayahibe a very nice and relaxing place in the Dominican Republic, its quant and hardly anyone knows about the place.
My favorite island. I've been there 8 times already, but still look forward to go again and again.

Had Mamajuana at several places in the Dominican but the best was when they put it in our hibachi rice at the resort😅.
Some much better than others. Overall it has a good taste but I’m not sure if I like or don’t like how viscous it is.

Como Dominicano que no conoce su país y con muchos años fuera quiero planear un viaje a Santo Domingo. De ahí tomaría un bus a Las Terrenas, pero para llegar a Las Galeras tendría que tomar otro bus más, no? Tal y como lo explica el chico en la misma terminal de Las Terrenas. Me tiene un poco confuso el sistema de transporte ya que no pienso manejar y no se que tan fácil sea movilizarme de un lugar a otro.

Been going to the DR yearly for 25 years, the last 5 years to Las Terranes for the month of January,…..please pronounce Samana correctly, learn to use the Tilde over the N in Samana ….besides that you have a very nice video
