Iwata destroyed Nintendo with the WiiWii and opening the doors of hell: the casual market, at least he made shiton of money for Big N. But Nintendo soul has died after the Gamecube. No more good games today, just casual and low quality games. The Wii (a gamecube disguised with a dildo remote TV) were eating dust in the shelter just after one week in every casual house. The Wii U lol. And today Nintendo continue with the hispter gadget switch, all they are doing today is putting most of the money in aggressive advertisements, paid journalists like with the terrible breath of the wild when we got games like Witcher 3 and to create buzz about air on medias and forums with an army of paid shills. Also BigN like the others seems to have their feet trap in the Banksters mafia, which is not good. Sony is not doing better with their movies games full of deranged propaganda, ugly and soy characters and heavy censored games teaming with Commiefornia and China, just see how nu-crapcom has became so pathetic helped by the weirdos from hollywood when Square Enix is a joke too and Persona 5 is a bad joke but at least Atlus never hide their evil propaganda which does not seems really Japanese..., sincerely the PS4 has at least Bloodborne and that is all, and Microsoft is on the same disastrous way with their forced ugly propaganda. Steam is censoring and selling his butt to china and was always a DRM and then add denuvo. It is sad to watch this video, it is nostalgia when video games were good, sad that the Gamecube do not sold well, there are really a bunch of really good games on it, I continue to play them in 2020 on a CRT like Pikmin 2, Luigi Mansion, the best Mario 3D aka Mario Sunshine and Baiten Kaitos. Perhaps that if they had sold the Q version of the Gamecube in the west, the Gamecube could have done better because what was in a first time the success of the PS2 was that it could read DVD movies. I remember also how a part of Nintenfanboys are terrible and because of them we got an unfinished Wind Waker would could have been the best Zelda game ever, just to get a remake of OoT aka the really not so good Twilight Princess far more boring than the good Okami, TP is not the worst game ever and it is a real Zelda game but I am disgusted to these days for the Wind Waker. So OK, rest in peace but I do not think that Mr. Iwata was a legend with Balloon Fight even if the game is kind of a classic. Even if his policies were annoying for the third parties developers, I am far more a fan of Hiroshi Yamauchi it was the era when Nintendo were making real Games made of incredible quality for the gamers, it was an era full of timeless classics, when Nintendo was the Japanese Disney(the old good real Disney and not the Nu-Disney full of degenerate propaganda and low quality).

      @@mrgamer21799 ihihih boomer lololol.
I am not a boomer, a low quality slang from the mafia actblue after the elections. To divide and conque with their Alinsky book.
But I saw what was an awesome adventure about arts, technology, funny headeaches labyrinths, philosophy and Fun died in the hands of evil. To control more cattle because their tv shows and movies lose of their mental power over the new cattle generation. Iwata was pushing shvelwares in his madness. Mister Gunpei Yokoi was the real man in Nintendo, then killed by the yakuzas when he has quit with his WonderMega. The wiiwii last jedi generation and their horrible dildo gameplay do not remember a real quality genius like him.
      OK GOOGLEL?

@Bold One what? Just because they have the same characters does not mean they are sequels, different story, different enemies, worlds and such. Sorry but Mario 2 has nothing to do with Mario 3 or Super World.

Isn't it fascinating to think, this was mesmerizing kit and technology. Not that you'd expect anything different, but its funny when Iwata was mentioning the N64 and its memory capacity. Down from KB's of data, to now having games consistently 50 GB+. I think its so cool to see where we've come so quickly. :)

I think the best parallel here is Final Fantasy 13. They spent so much money on an engine that ended up only being used for that sub-series (and for a hot second 14) that they had to force 2 unimpressive sequels in order to make the money back.

I love this thing. I remember getting a new tv, and hooking it back up. I remember freaking out when I saw the tv on top of the cord. I thought it was going to destroy the cord, so I had to use what little strength I had to lift up the heavy tv, and use my foot to nudge the cord out from under it. Too bad nobody cares. Fame shield, activate.

Listen to 11:54 I couldn't agree more with Iwata. The gameplay always triumphs over graphics and that's why Nintendo is winning now with the switch. I bet people don't know that it is 900p but yet many enjoy it because of Odyssey and BOTW. PS4 has great looking games but they're all crappy and again like he said too many sequels and nothing innovative.

PAL region is started to loose interest in home consoles as the handheld technology is closing the gap between home console and handheld. Vita is a failure because it's more expensive to make games for it than 3DS. PS4, Nextbox and Wii U will be a lot more expensive to make games for them. Western studios will deal with that. Japanese developers at Konami, Capcom, Namco and Square Enix will support 3DS a lot more. DS got all support last gen and it's no brainer 3DS will do the same.
