    Nice video, Chris. Disneyland once held a horticulture tour, and we learned about two other trees - the tree between the restrooms in Adventureland is a cutting from the very tree that Buddha sat under when he got his enlightenment (It has heart-shaped leaves.... I always point that one out). The other tree is by the Stage Door Cafe in Frontierland. I don't remember the significance, but remember that being on the tour.

    my favorite tree or trees in Disneyland are the avocado trees right in front of space mountain. They are around the marble ball water thingy. I grew up in Fallbrook, California, they are the avocado capital of the world. Avocado trees are just special to me. I was sitting with my kids while they were playing with that water ball thingy and I was like, hey, these are avocado trees. I love avocados!!!

    • @dc_mischief
      @dc_mischief 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cool; I didn't know those were avocados! I remember reading that one of the Tomorrowland renovations put a huge emphasis on edible plants as part of the landscaping--cabbages instead of shrubs, etc. I'm guessing the avocado trees are a part of that!

    actually, petrified wood is not about pressing the tree with pressure to turn into rock. It is because the wood was submerged by water and sand, and the sand/minerals settled down into the tree cells, and formed rock in the same shape as the wood. After the wood is gone and the rock forms in the shape of the tree, then you have the petrified wood (which contains 0% wood any more).
