When I was a young boy our family took the our elderly Godparents on the “Jungle Cruise “ and as we were getting on the boat, my Godfather who was in his eighties was having balance problems getting on the boat and as we steadied him the Captain of the boat made the comment that there was “ No dancing on the cruise.” I laughed so hard and still use that comment today at tense moment’s. It is a great ice breaker an calms many situations down. I was ten at the time I am now 68years old. 😎
Thank you for sharing that with us! I have shared it with my kids, husband and mom. We thought it was so adorable, being disney groupies as we all are we have adopted this into our family's life 💗 💖 we had a recent tragedy and it lightened the moods GREATLY. tytytyty
This is also why they can easily let a child 'steer' the boat without worrying about the little skipper crashing into everything! It's a fun moment for kids!
The older I get, the more I love The Jungle Cruise. The dad jokes are just the best and it always seems to be practically a walk on too. It’s such a great and under appreciated ride.
It would be fun if they still handed out the maps at the end of the cruise when you asked for them. I framed one and put it in a powder room that I have in a Disney theme
Watched the “Behind the Attractions: Jungle Cruise” on Disney + and heard that Bill Evans also got trees that Anaheim was removing when they were building the freeway and put them in the Jungle Cruise!
Great video as usual!! Yes it's crazy to realize how close Jungle Cruise is to the main entrance and Main Street! It's a wonderful thing though how the design of the park makes it feel like you've ventured off INTO or FURTHER AWAY...when actually you've back tracked. So cool!!
This is my absolute favorite ride! I remember writing it with my friends when my band from a small town in Nebraska got to play in a Main Street Day Parade.
Totally thought this was the video where Chris abandons Provost Park Pass to finally live out his life as a rogue Jungle Cruise Skipper. Maybe that was over in the canoes video instead.
I remember one time on the Jungle Cruise the skipper didn’t shoot off the gun, he waved the gun at the hippo a said “shoo, no get outa here” and later after announcing the backside of water he started chanting “O2H O2H O2H O2H”, it was rather hilarious. Always love going on this ride when I’m at Disneyland.
When Disney out out the big records with the books, my dad bought the Jungle Cruise one. And in one of the photos in the book is my mom, dad and oldest sister (when she was a toddler). It’s the coolest thing ever to see them in the book!
That’s so cool! I love the little unknown trinkets you can get like that. I had a monorail pilot license in my wallet for years that I got as a kid. So fun.
I believe that is correct! Based on a mechanical bird Walt got in Paris because real birds for a Tiki Room Restaurant would “poop in the food” according to Rolly Crump! 😎
I grew up going to Disneyland every summer when my mom and I would visit her sister who lived in Buena Park. It is so cool to see you walking around the place that has so many childhood memories for me.
I love your channel. I am a huge disney fan and live in Austria. I watch every video, whenn my missing went higher and higher, when i am not in disney! Keep on rocking!!
l just saw the premiere of the movie "Jungle Cruise" and it was awesome. I saw it at a Regal Cinema 4dx and it was so realistic with the seats moving, water and mist in my face and I felt the seat move with every stunt and fall in the movie. It was like I was actually on the jungle cruise at Disney World even with "bad" jokes. loved it......
I worked at the Plaza Pavilion (now called Jolly Holiday) in the 1980s. We would take our breaks on the Jungle Cruise boats backstage. The "uncharted area' where the boats are parked is directly behind the restaurant. The only time we were unable to have a break on the Jungle Cruise boats was during the 4th of July. They had diverted the guest's exiting the park to use backstage. Management didn't want any cast members to be seen taking a break, we had to go upstairs to a very small room to take a break. Also, that night there were no Jungle Cruise boats parked. Thanks for the video I learned things I didn't know about the attraction.
The overturned jeep is way to new to fit the year of the theming of 1938. The jeep looks to be from the 70's to the 80's. The ride is still great even after all the changes since 1955. Another great watch.... Thanks.........

You need to be a Jungle Cruise skipper someday, Chris. Disneyland, MAKE THAT HAPPEN!
Yes please!!! I'd love to join that cruise around the world.
Yes!!!!!
Chris would be the perfect skipper
@@meganmiller8980 I agree!! That would be a great ride😀😀😀
That Jungle Cruise boat should come with a little voice recorder with Chris’ amazing puns! 😂 Chris for Skipper!
Liked the fun fact about the boats being on tracks. Always wondered if they were or not! The steering action by the skippers always looks so real!
This is also why they can easily let a child 'steer' the boat without worrying about the little skipper crashing into everything! It's a fun moment for kids!
We need a top 10 of Chris’s favorite Jungle Cruise jokes
It’s in the podcast

Also, since Walt’s apartment was backing up to the Jungle Cruise, the animal sounds were keeping him awake at night, so they had to turn them off!!! 😎
Yes!!!! Great show!!!

Can we also get the pineapple split that comes with the Jungle Cruise boat? I'd be happy with just the boat.
ummmm maybe Amanda already ate it :D
Provost Park Pass 😂
We are always on the lookout for him on a cruise or at the park!
I remember one time on the Jungle Cruise the skipper didn’t shoot off the gun, he waved the gun at the hippo a said “shoo, no get outa here” and later after announcing the backside of water he started chanting “O2H O2H O2H O2H”, it was rather hilarious. Such great memories. 💚💙
Love the details in the souvenir boat!
Would love to see a secrets of or expanded tour of Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar.
Can’t wait to ride Jungle Cruise next time we are at Disneyland.
The skippers are always fun to hear.
Definitely. One of the best. And has Walt’s direct influence too. So cool
Thanks for all great videos and information. I can’t wait to be back there in September!
This Jungle Cruise ride is great at anytime, but there is something especially ✨ magical ✨ about it at night!! 🦒🐘🐅🦓
Chris was meant to be a skipper with all of his “jokes”
My brother's 58 years old and I'm finally taking him to Disneyland
Love all your videos

That's really awesome!!
My friend was late for our sailing trip. When she arrived it was a-boat time!
You’ll be a perfect Skipper.
Oh man that would be my dream.
It is so crazy that the trees are upside down, I would have never known that if it wasn’t for this vid
That’s so cool! I love the little unknown trinkets you can get like that.
I had a monorail pilot license in my wallet for years that I got as a kid. So fun.
I just watched the new movie!
I'm not so sure but I believe this ride puts me in De Nile. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
FYI "Siobhan" is pronounced "sha-VON." I don't make the rules.
And in gaelic "teach" is pronounced something like "chuck".
"It sounded like Chuck Solace…that can't be right, sounds like a ballplayer." -Richie Ryan
Every time we go on any boat at Disney me and my friends sing to ourselves “I’m on a boat”
Not only did someone get to win something but we've had fun and giggles at the same time
Yup. I had seen him at local conventions all the time but hadn’t got to know her until these. They’re a fun fam.
Do the Secrets Revealed of Pirates Lair on Tom Sawyer's Island
I think 💭 enchanted tiki room was the one where audio animatronic was being introduced.
I believe that is correct! Based on a mechanical bird Walt got in Paris because real birds for a Tiki Room Restaurant would “poop in the food” according to Rolly Crump! 😎
@@pault5557 agree.
Why couldn't the pony sing a lullaby? She was a little horse. 😄
I grew up going to Disneyland every summer when my mom and I would visit her sister who lived in Buena Park. It is so cool to see you walking around the place that has so many childhood memories for me.
The African Queen was one of my moms favorite movies! I love that this ride was based on it!
Has anybody scrolled through yet to make sure they didn’t already award a winner? lol
I'd like to point out some of my favorite parts of the video...
That's probably my favorite skipper joke! "I'd like the point out some of my favorite plants here at the Jungle Cruise"
@@jopi95 Yes!!! Me too!
I want to win the boat but I would be happy for the person who does win because well… good for them they are a winner!
I love your channel. I am a huge disney fan and live in Austria. I watch every video, whenn my missing went higher and higher, when i am not in disney! Keep on rocking!!
Thanks for the update on this historic ride. Great job.
Fun fact: Siobhan is pronounced shiv-AWN
Third Comment: How close to naming a winner? I really would like to add the Jungle Cruise Boat to my collection.
Why did Johnny throw the clock out of the window? He wanted to see time fly. 🕰

Carrie - I know, right. In California everything is so tight in terms of space. Things overlap all over. It’s crazy.
I’m sure it’s amazing. Even on free or inexpensive things, the attention to detail is fantastic
I love watching this video. It's amazing the relationship that Chris and Amanda have with Disney.
Cool video!! Walt was great on creating atmospheric scenes to transport you somewhere far away!
So happy you guys finally did this attraction it’s one of my favorites
Our favorite ride in Adventure Land is Pirates of the Caribbean! That's one of my favorite sections in our backyard, especially the nighttime video!
This is one of my favorite blog Channels ever!

You guys are the best Chanel for Disneyland
