I always wished they converted the old Fantasyland skyliner station to Rapunzel's tower.
Those were all new to me! I kind of thought I was going crazy because I remember riding the Sky Rider as a little kid and going through the matterhorn and Star Tours (though now I think that was the People Mover??) but when I'd ask people they said DL never had those. Thanks for confirming my memories!
Um yasssss they did luv, those people were wrong! The Skyliner went threw the Matterhorn and the people mover went around Tomorrowland it went threw Star tours, Space mountain, and ASTRO blasters. I remember riding those many times as a kid, and always wonder what that ride was called in Tomorrowland. Watching vlogs we learned what happened. They have a replica of the people mover at WDW. Check out Jackie with Super enthused type in people mover and there is our childhood 😀.

The people mover went through a Tron section too! The more you know!

@@luvadventuresandart ~ There was a section between Adventures Through Inner Space/Star Tours and Space Mountain where the People Mover went through a covered 'tunnel' - Disneyland added Tron effects to this area, and at one time had a racing scene, like you were racing cars. And before Astro Blasters there was a Circle Vision theater, and the People Mover passed by the waiting area where they used to entertain us while waiting for the movie by identifying flags hanging from the ceiling.

Chris, you have taught me more things that I don't know about Disneyland. I didn't know there was Walt's name in the grading on the wall inside Elias & CO. I also didn't know about the horse thing in Rancho Del Zocalo. Thank you for always teaching me new Disney trivia! You are my go to person for all things Disney! What I do know about is the hidden stairs that lead up to the SkyWay ride and I saw that on my Disneyland trip in November of 2021. Happy New Year Chris, Amanda, Miles, and the rest of the PPP crew! Ok, if it means bringing Cameramen Greg out, yes of course, give us more. All your new stuff is nice to know, and some of the old info, is a nice reminder of things I forgot. Like I knew that Disneyland had the Mule rides next to the mine train (the Predecessor to "Big Thunder Mountain"), but I totally forgot that Disneyland had the stagecoach ride. Come on Chris, bring it on!

More Camera Man Greg. This is an amazing list of details. The only one I knew about was the flight of stairs leading to the Skyway to Tomorrowland. I always enjoyed the view from up there and that was back when you could look over your shoulder while going uphill in the Matterhorn and see the basketball goal..
The skyway building in fantasyland was there hidden behind the greenery for many years until the construction for Galaxy’s Edge. Sad to see it gone.

When I worked in Fantasyland, we used to have our potlucks up there in the Fantasyland Skyway Station
when we last went to Disney World in September for some reason I got super into takings pictures of the baby changing stations because they were all themed to the bathrooms and locations. it was just a super cool thing to collect as many different ones as I could while we were there.
Loved all of these but 6 & 5 really tugged at the heartstrings! Thanks for your content, absolutely love this channel and how much you guys love Disney!

I remember the skytram :( Or Skyway, as it was named.
I started taking my oldest daughter to Disneyland in 1993 and it was still running. Then it was gone. It was a nice ride, I remember the stairs leading to the boarding platform.

I used to ride the skyway back in the 70's and 80's. and you would see mountain climbers ( actual guys ) on the Matterhorn.

Those steps to the old sky way buckets in fantasyland; makes me so sad every time. It wasn't too long ago that they tore down the old skyway station the steps led up to. Great video!
I remember riding the skyway when I was VERY little. We used FRS/GSM walkie talkies at the time to keep in touch (before cellphones, so it was kind of the only way to keep in touch across a park like Disneyland and they're STILL useful now since they're independent of your phone and you won't use up your battery for seeing where your friends are) and we would arrange to get on at the opposite stations, and when we met midway, we'd toss snacks to each other! I always thought my older brothers were going to get in trouble doing that, but they never did lol.
I remember riding the sky traim, my mom and dad would smoke a Joint while on it,lol, I remember seeing teenagers getting kicked out for dropping a water balloon off the sky traim. 😆 back in the early 80s

As a preteen, one time on the skyway my friend and I, thinking we were "cool," spit off the ride at guests down below. When we got to Tomorrowland, the cast members immediately scolded us and then escorted us off the ride. They took us to what we called jail (over on Main Street by the Corn Dog cart) until my friend's parents claimed us. I remember the cast members threatening they were going to kick us out of Disneyland for the rest of the day. Def never did that again, not to mention the skyway wasn't around much longer.

I am surprised no one talks about the carved tree involving Peter Pan with the back of the tree has a heart carved out with P + W. It is at the left side of the castle by the Snow White wishing well beyond the fence. Very unique!!!

I only knew the skyway one as well, those are some great details!
There is also one other detail in the spiderman ride... the pizza box on top of the computer is called "Lucky Dog Pizza". This is based on the dog Lucky in the Hawkeye TV Show that just came out on Disney+ (he's known in the comics for liking to eat pizza).
The last detail about Thanos's snap actually takes place in Avengers: Infinity War. Iron Man is who snapped in Endgame.

I am sure you probably knew this already but I have to mention it (BC you showed one my favorite rides(. The first year (give or take) when *Indy* opened, they gave you a card to help you decipher the messages on the walls in the que. Long story short I knew about #3, BTW I still hat card somewhere. I also knew about the stairs leading up to the *Skyway* - I rode it all time when I was younger, fastest way to get from *Fantasyland to Tomorrowland* (and back).

Wow, Chris, you knocked this one out of the park...9 and a half out of 10! Only because I've seen the stairs that used to lead up to the Skyway to Tomorrowland, but it's been so long that I had forgotten about them. I rode it a handful of times back in the day! Fun, if a bit scary for acrophobes, and the view of the roofs of the Fantasyland structures was kind of a magic flattener. I guess there's just one more thing to say... MORE CAMERAMAN GREG! Those little cheeks...!

More cameraman greg. I knew about the skyway steps on the fantasyland side and the tomorrowland side is near the restrooms across from autopia. The rest were new for me. The walt in the ironwork is the coolest
Loved that you had some things I didn’t know. But I did know about the Skyway station. I loved that ride. Did you know they took it out because some not nice people would drop things on Guests below?
Actually, they took it out because the Skyway was putting too much stress on the structure for the Matterhorn. The structure that was holding up the poles the Skyway lines ran on were weakening and needed maintenance, but they would have had to rip the Matterhorn open to get at those and it would have been WAY too costly. So they decided to close it down and keep the Matterhorn running instead.
