@UnitTraceif the 2b2t team allowed mojang to monitor 2b2t there wouldnt be any bugs in modern versions because the players exploit every single thing they find
The fact that you are so smart and committed to build something this complicated being juxtaposed by what an absolutely stupid waste of time this really is, is truly a new sensation I haven't felt before
ig the map stabilizing is like a machine getting turned completely off; it settles down into this nice limbo. Once it turns on, it will be a bit slower as it tries to get a whole lot of processes running at once until it gets them to a nice rhythm. That's my theory of what's happening here
hmm interesting! have too remember that. does it also work if the flickering blocks are in a non dominant block of the pixel? (meaning you can make a high fps map display without actually having visible flickering pixels?)
I have a feeling this is how it works: when one player has a map, it refreshes the file that stores the map data at say 10fps until there aren't any detected changes and stops refreshing. Now when 3 players have maps each map refreshes at that initial FPS creating a 3x faster total refresh rate, and it doesn't stop refreshing because the other maps are updating the map file meaning the games logic is thinking that a new independent update has happened to the map file
minecraft i hope will improve with technology because it seems there are a LOT of smart kids out there who can litterally use blocks to create complex circits and systems Crazy.
This was in my recommended for a while. I ignored it because I thought it was talking about maps as in the worlds people make. I would have clicked a lot sooner if I knew it was about the map item.

Problem is it doesnt really cause faster updates, and may actually SLOW said updates waiting for the flowing water, while not getting past the dispenser cooldown that Powdered snow already has. So it just ends up being a slower messier worse version
@@higueraft571 not for most players, no. but i probably misunderstood the title to mean like actual minecraft maps from your save subdirectory. i guess people call them "worlds". in either case it's clickbait and in my opinion, annoying.

Map duping?
How to increase FPS without 3 maps
how to make vsync in maps ?
Maps in bedrock… they render differently. I’ll need to test this out, when I get a chance, as it’s on my video project roadmap.

Man, PC master race has gotten so out of hand that we're now overclocking maps.
Next step: implement Freesync so we can have variable refresh rate while still eliminating tearing.

Ooooh, you could actually use that to simulate the screen scrolling if the snow goes the other way
wonder what it would do with the snow also moving the other way so one row moving L to R and a row R to L, with the R to L moving slower than L to R.

He said it was from a color update, and if it isn't dominant then it wouldn't update, so I'd assume no.
we tested that, the map actually has to change the pixel colour
@@CraftyMasterman that is a shame. does it work if it only updates the single bottom row of pixels or does it have to be 4 lines like in the video?
@@MinerBat it can be a single row, but it has to happen every gt per coloumn so having 4 rows was the easiest method due to the dispenser cooldown

Or sync the game to the maps refresh rate. So that all pixels are in place as intended, when the map updates.
