George Muller leaving for the foreign mission field at age 70 for 17 years is incredible. Especially since he was the leader of the orphan ministry in Bristol for years before this. Brother Muller loved the Word of God and depended on God to supply his every need.
Je vous remercie pour ces conversations. J'écris en français pour que vous sachiez que des chrétiens qui n'ont pas l'anglais comme langue maternelle vous suivent à travers le monde. Thank you sir, we are so blessed to have these conversations. I am so blessed to live and have those kind of (weak) men of God. The life of G Muller inspires me too. The topic was so on point for me, today i was reading and meditating 2 cor 11 and 12 and i was praying to become more weaker.
He wasn’t a hireling, he was an example of both a sheep and shepherd, he took God at his Word, he was heavenly minded and earthly good, and he avoided heresy.
God knows what is needed before we ask for it. He answers a faithful prayer and does it in such a way that we can only attribute it to Hus supernatural providence. I rejoice in my weakness for the Lord's strength achieves exponentially more than I could ever achieve for His glory.
Me too. Love Spurgeon, Andrew Murray who was btw friends with Gandhi in SA in early 1890s it is GM who inspires acted in FAITH to bring all the Oliver's of the streets and away from predators and gave those kids food shelter safety love a home..our God is an awesome God.
As to the other means of grace, I would say, I fell into the snare into which so many young believers fall, the reading of religious books in preference to the Scriptures. I read tracts, missionary papers, sermons, and biographies of godly persons. I never had been at any time of my life in the habit of reading the Holy Scriptures. When under fifteen years of age, I occasionally read a little of them at school; afterwards God's precious book was entirely laid aside, so that I never read one single chapter of it till it pleased God to begin a work of grace in my heart. Now the scriptural way of reasoning would have been: God himself has consented to be an author, and I am ignorant about that precious book, which his Holy Spirit has caused to be written through the instrumentality of his servants, and it contains that which I ought to know, the knowledge of which will lead me to true happiness; therefore I ought to read again and again this most precious book of books, most earnestly, most prayerfully, and with much meditation; and in this practice I ought to continue all the days of my life. But instead of acting thus, my difficulty in understanding it, and the little enjoyment I had in it, made me careless of reading it; and thus, like many believers, I practically preferred, for the first four years of my divine life, the works of uninspired men to the oracles of the living God. The consequence was, that I remained a babe, both in knowledge and grace. George Müller, The Autobiography Of George Muller
Pray to your Heavenly Father, open your Bible and listen, He will lead you to whatever specific thing you aren’t sure of. God knows you better than you know yourself, He knows your life better than you know it. Trust in Faith that He cares more about you than you care about yourself. The answers will come in His timing. Isaiah 55:8-9
There is another side; I have not come to bring peace but a sword,: father against son mother-in-law against daughter inllaw!! But you are correct,! 👍✝️

Dear sir, I really don't know you very well every now and then.I heard your messages. I would encourage you to look up. Let joy come upon you. I understand I myself walk in a very spirit of heaviness and somberness and I get it. There are callings on our lives, but we also must be filled with joy. Lots of joy. Ask the Holy Spirit to free you from some of this. That is only of the heaviness for God to bear. He bears our burdens. He carries them, not as God bless you.😊
You may not understand what he’s really saying. It’s not that’s it’s a spirit of heaviness but it’s rather part of the Christian walk, keep in mind Paul Washer comes from a very Reformed Background so most Charismatic interests may not be the route he chooses.
Muller wasn't a cessationist 8:10 38k answered prayers not 3k 9:01 pray specifically but if God doesn't communicate or speak or act bc He has ceased then why pray specifically? Especially if everything is predetermined ahead of time and you have no free will to be able to act to change anything.
If a person decides to pick up orphaned children lying on the street and raise them in safety, what has he done with his free will? Did it affect his own life and the lives of others? With free will, we can save lives and destroy lives, including our own lives. You have to get out of the trap of prejudice, because over time it fills you with blind spots. AND because of the blind spots, you will only see distorted images of life and God.
@@gustavhands7227His free will was him taking in orphans. Free will is you & I not taking in orphans. 5d chess-God is advanced enough to know the last moves to end the game while the opponent at will can move pawns on the board-God complicated enough to do predetermine some things while allowing for our free will bc He has made all things. God has not preordained child rape. Free will and salvation right here: gal 6:7-8
1 John 1:8-9. There's a difference between struggling with sin versus walking in outright rebellion. If you're advocating for sinless perfection in this life, it's unattainable. Just read Paul's words in Romans 7. The strongest saint will occasionally fail God at some point, yet He giveth grace to the humble. Those who say they have not committed any sin at all since they've been saved are liars. I pray you're not among them.
@@-Thelordismyshepherd- yeah, the first half of your comment is entirely contradictory to scripture's teaching on sanctification and dealing with sin in the life of the believer. Read those passages I already mentioned, they are the ones you stand in opposition to. God bless. And I won't be replying further so this is the extent of my interaction. Thanks.
@@ronkelley1490 I know I line up with the book. I never said I have no sin, I was a sinner, Now I’m saved. What did Jesus say about those who still sin? Joh 8:34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. Whosoever commits sin, Is the servant of sin. That’s once a while or everyday. A servant of sin. Even Paul told you; Rom 6:20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness If you still sin Ron, You are still under the law. I love how he said that God takes even our pitiful prayers and mixes them with incense and makes them acceptable just by grace.
❤ my heart just flutters whenever I sit with gentlemen and watch them speak about God. It's so refreshing.

Sincerity purity and truth, I hear from Mr. Washer.
Specific prayer brings specific Answer.
Same here! He was useful to God and men.
