I solved the "Logical Or/And" problem: It is simplest if you have only two line types selected on a Lineset. EG: Set your Edge Type Combination to "Logical AND" then tick Crease and Edge Marks, with the X enabled on Edge Marks. This will NOT render anything with a Freestyle Marked Edge. Now you can set up a separate lineset to ONLY render Edge Marks. Hope that helps!
sometimes i get strange result when applying the line-style to a spesific group of meshes- the line-style specified for that group stay presence but with a lighter weight for objects that are not inside that group !!!
One of the best vids about the Freestyle around. ...I'd prefer less vain speaking, though. But come on, it's for free, so.. Nothing to say but "thanks":)
Not sure if you're gonna see this, but is it possible to have the line thickness follow a black-and-white map ? for example i have a character with a contour, i want the contour on the chest to be thicker than on the face. How can i do this ?
thank you for the video, I had tried previously with Freestyle but never quite got it until today, went and watched 'Blender Quick Tip: Freestyle Exclude Collection' from a couple of years ago that too was helpful
